Zhuangyou smiled and said, "Your Highness, you may not know this, but our little princess has been blessed with good fortune since birth. Perhaps when Tiger Cub came over, he was touched by our little princess's good fortune, which is why the restlessness gradually subsided."
Changyin suddenly realized, "Oh, I see! Sister Nian Nian is so amazing!"
However, the little girl who was praised was not happy. She pulled her head out of Zhuangyou's arms, looked up at Zhuangyou, who was not letting her speak, and pouted, not very happy.
However, the little girl remembered that her father had told her to be a good girl and listen to her older sister Zhuangyou before they came, so she pouted and leaned on Zhuangyou's shoulder with a wronged look, without saying a word.
Seeing the little princess's huffy expression, Zhuangyou smiled helplessly and kissed her soft little face. "How about I make meat soup for the little princess tonight?"
The little one's eyes lit up, and she immediately perked up, replying in a sweet, clear voice, "Okay!"
Zhuangyou smiled gently and looked at Changyin, "Princess, now that Tiger Cub isn't biting anymore, why don't you come with me to pay our respects to the Empress Dowager, let her know that everything is alright and that she shouldn't worry anymore? We can also have the palace maids do your hair and makeup."
Upon hearing this, Changyin slowly raised her head after a long while. Her misty eyes looked at Zhuangyou, then at the little girl with bright, sparkling eyes who was looking at her. She nodded gently and whispered, "Okay."
Zhuangyou laughed, then turned around and saw the little palace maid Xia Yi still slumped on the ground, looking at everything in disbelief.
She beckoned to Xia Yi, "Come here."
Xia Yi snapped back to her senses, still shocked. She quickly got up and walked over, but when she saw the big dog, she was still a little scared and couldn't help but keep glancing at it out of the corner of her eye.
"Don't be afraid, beautiful sister, it won't bite. As long as you don't hurt Changyin, it won't hurt you either," the little dumpling comforted Xia Yi in his sweet, childlike voice.
"Alright, alright..." Xia Yi took a deep breath and curtsied to Chao Zhuangyou. "This servant is Xia Yi. May I ask what your instructions are, Aunt?"
"Xia Yi, you carry the little county princess. I see her shoes are all worn out; I'm afraid she won't be able to walk."
"Okay, okay..." Xia Yi was still a little stiff as she looked at the big dog and tentatively picked up Changyin.
The little bundle of joy wiggled its short legs in Zhuangyou's arms, revealing dimples, and said to Hubao, "Hubao, Hubao, Sister Xiayi is a good person. Changyin's shoes are worn out. Can you let Sister Xiayi hug Changyin?"
"Awoo..." Tiger Cub obediently whimpered.
Xia Yi stared in shock at the scene, but when Zhuang You looked over, she quickly swallowed her shock and met Zhuang You's gaze, saying hastily, "Auntie, don't worry, I... I didn't see anything."
Zhuangyou smiled, "Let's go. I'll ask the Empress Dowager to transfer you to serve the little princess."
After saying that, Zhuangyou picked up the little baby and walked towards the main hall of Shouci Palace where the Empress Dowager was.
"Okay, okay." Xia Yi breathed a sigh of relief, hugged Xiao Changyin, and quickly followed Zhuang You's footsteps.
Tiger Cub followed quietly behind the two of them.
The bewildered little girl blinked her watery eyes, looked at Hu Bao with a puzzled expression while perched on Zhuang You's shoulder, and then looked in the direction they were walking.
Finally, the little dumpling pouted in confusion, hugged Zhuangyou's neck, and asked in a childish voice, "Sister Zhuangyou, where are we going?"
