The latter immediately understood and quickly beckoned a young eunuch to come forward and shut Minshi's mouth.
Unexpectedly, as soon as the young eunuch touched Min Shi, she suddenly jumped up, her face pale, and she panicked and shrank back, screaming repeatedly.
Suddenly, Min saw Emperor Chongjin's fierce eyes wide open. For a moment, she didn't even feel the anger emanating from him. She immediately pounced on him, grabbed his robes, and screamed:
"Ghost! Ghost! Your Majesty! That jinx has come back to life! Your Majesty! You can't be bewitched by this filthy thing! Your Majesty, Your Majesty, you must kill her! She's back for revenge... Ugh!"
Before Min could finish speaking, Dejiang stepped forward, quickly covered her mouth, and dragged her away from Emperor Chongjin.
Emperor Chongjin frowned, looking at Min Shi, who seemed to have gone mad for a moment. His eyes blazed with anger as he coldly stared at the person lying on the ground.
Huo Chengche and Xuan Di had just entered the room when they witnessed Min Shi's sudden outburst. He instinctively turned his head to look at Xuan Di's expression, only to see that Xuan Di's icy eyes were sharp and he was glancing at Min Shi with displeasure, but he was not as furious as before.
However, some emotion seemed to be churning in those icy eyes, making them hazy and unpredictable. In this complex expression, there was no surprise at all; on the contrary, it was as if she had suddenly thought of something.
When Huo Chengche looked at Xuandi with a probing gaze, the latter's eyes no longer held the usual playful smile. When he noticed Huo Chengche's expression, Xuandi merely glanced at him and then turned away as if he hadn't seen anything.
That attitude is infuriating!
Just then, the Empress Dowager, sitting at the head of the table, spoke up authoritatively, "Min Shi, what are you talking about 'revenge'? Could it be that Princess Yingying didn't die from poor health?"
