Chapter 189, /.

"No need, it's right over there!" the little boy said in his childish voice.

She stopped abruptly, looking at the panting Wenlian with some concern. "Sister Wenlian, I'm so sorry, Niannian forgot you can't run again."

"It's okay. My cousin secretly told me that it's fine for me to run away a little. His neighbor's aunt was just like me when she was little, but she did farm work every day and ended up being no different from other kids!"

While panting, Wenlian chuckled and shook the little boy's hand. "Let's go. If we follow Niannian, they won't dare to bother me. Maybe I can be as healthy as the other older sisters and won't make my mother worry."

"Okay!" Upon hearing Wenlian's words, the little dumpling's dimples deepened, and he happily pulled the two older girls towards the front yard, though at a much slower pace than before.

Even so, Wenlian was still out of breath when she ran into the courtyard.

Xiao Changyin is also the type to run around and play wildly at home, but she's not as wild as Xiao Naibao, and she gets dragged around until she's out of breath.

Along the way, apart from Zhuangyou by the little baby's side, Changyin and Wenlian's wet nurses and palace maids had long been left behind.

The little one, without even panting, curiously circled the yard with his bright, sparkling eyes.

Then, the little dumpling pouted and looked up at Zhuangyou, "Sister Zhuangyou, why is there nothing fun here?"

Uh-huh?

Changyin and Wenlian pressed their chests, panting heavily, and exchanged a puzzled look: There are sandbags, embroidered balls, ropes... so many things here, why isn't there anything fun?

Not only Changyin and Wenlian, but the little boy's childish words immediately drew the attention of all the little girls in the yard.

Looking at the cute little trinkets of the ladies, and then at the little boy's disappointed expression, Zhuangyou smiled helplessly, squatted down, and said to the little boy:

"Who says these things aren't fun? The capital has its own fun things. Unlike where we are, where every household keeps tigers, every household in the capital keeps birds! Birds and tigers are both cute, aren't they?"

Do all households keep tigers?

As soon as Zhuangyou finished speaking, the little girls in the yard started dropping their beanbags and their flower ropes.

Then, Zhuangyou suddenly realized that she had said the wrong thing.

However, the little boy's next words gave her an even bigger headache.

"What's so cute about the birds? Besides, the birds here aren't as slovenly and ugly as that old bird next door... Mmm!"

Before the little girl could finish speaking, Zhuangyou quickly covered her mouth.

In the aesthetic sense of this little baby's family, birds are strange.

Of course, in a certain bird's aesthetic eyes, that old snake isn't much better looking either.

"Who are you? Where did you come from?" A little girl in a pink jacket and topknot walked over and asked the little boy who had suddenly barged in.

The little boy looked at the young lady and noticed out of the corner of his eye that everyone was curiously waiting for her answer.

Looking at those curious little eyes, Zhuangyou couldn't help but feel a headache coming on—she guessed that what these little guys were really curious about was, where would every household keep a tiger?

"We came here to have fun, we came from over there." The little boy smiled sweetly, his dimples showing, and turned around, pointing in the direction they came from.
