The little dumpling dragged Daoist Dangdang into the hall at lightning speed. Luo Dangdang didn't even have time to catch her breath before rushing forward to check on the Seventh Princess's condition.
The little girl lay on the bed, moving in pain and unease, as if something was wrestling within her. Her pale face looked weak and eerie.
"Imperial Preceptor, Imperial Preceptor! Please save Xiao Qi! Xiao Qi, she..." Xu Guiji choked with sobs. Looking at her daughter's painful state on the bed, she couldn't bear it and turned her eyes away, silently shedding tears.
Luo Dangdang frowned deeply. He quickly drew a talisman to ward off evil, muttering in astonishment, "What deep-seated hatred does this child have for them that they would want to kill her like this! Even resorting to such a vicious method!"
Emperor Chongjin, who strode in, overheard this and immediately demanded in a stern voice, "Who wants to kill Xiao Qi! Imperial Preceptor, what happened to Xiao Qi?"
Luo Dangdang's face was solemn, and he didn't even pay attention to Emperor Chongjin's question. After making the talisman, he suddenly stood up, took two steps, and then quickly turned back. He picked up Xiao Chanian and carried her to the Seventh Princess's bed before turning around and shooing everyone out.
"Everyone, please get out of here. They've gone to their wits' end! There's no time to lose; I must get started right away!"
Emperor Chongjin wanted to ask a few more questions, but seeing how anxious Luo Dangdang was, he swallowed his words and only glanced at the little bundle of milk left behind by Luo Dangdang with surprise.
"Will Niannian stay here?"
Luo Dang blurted out instinctively, "Of course! My skills are far from enough. I'm relying entirely on the little princess!"
As soon as Luo Dangdang realized she had let something slip, she quickly closed the door.
So, in those few glances, the two locked eyes, their eyes wide open.
"Bang—"
With a particularly loud slam of the door, Luo Dangdang snapped back to reality.
"Master Dangdang, come quick! My little sister is feeling unwell again!" Xiaocha Nian called out to him in her childish voice.
Luo Dangdang immediately turned around and came back, "Hey! Coming, coming!"
He went to the bedside and carried the seventh princess, who was struggling in pain on the bed, into the magic circle that had been set up in the middle of the room.
The little dumpling followed behind Master Dangdang, looking up at the busy master running around.
"Master Dangdang, what does Nian Nian want to do?"
While busy setting out all the magical artifacts, Luo Dangdang hurriedly replied, "Thank you, Princess, for entering the divination chamber to oversee things!"
What did Master Dangdang say?
The little dumpling tilted her head, looking completely bewildered. But when she saw that Master Dangdang had pointed her in the right direction, she obediently took a few quick steps and jumped into the circle where the Seventh Princess was lying.
The moment the baby entered the magic circle, the surroundings suddenly lit up, and dazzling light rippled outwards in concentric circles around the baby's feet.
Xiao Chanian stared blankly at the increasingly bright halo beneath her feet. She dazedly took two steps to the side, and the light followed her to a new location, growing ever brighter amidst the ripples, until it was radiantly brilliant—

The little dumpling didn't know when she had fallen asleep. She opened her eyes groggily, and the light around her seemed to have disappeared. However, she was no longer in the Seventh Princess's room, and Daoist Dangdang was no longer there either.
Cha Nian looked around at the unfamiliar surroundings in a daze. Just as she was about to get out of bed, she suddenly felt a lot of pain all over her body, so much so that the little baby immediately burst into tears.
"Crown Prince..."
"Sister Zhuangyou..."
The little one cried and called for help, calling out in a childish voice, trying to jump off the bed to find someone as he used to.
But as soon as the baby moved, it felt as if his little body was filled with lead, so heavy that he couldn't be dragged and fell to the ground.
