Chapter 1: Tramp

The rain stopped in the middle of the night, and the air in Indochina became more humid and hot.

It's 10 p.m. on the streets of Mandalay, Myanmar, and there's still an hour and a half left before curfew, but the streets are practically empty...

At Villa No. 23, Shuisewan, Laiya Street, the sharp light of cold white crystal lamps shines from top to bottom, illuminating the entire hall.

Bang!

With a loud bang, the door to the second-floor study was flung open, and out ran a bald Burmese man. His obese body was straining, his face terrified, his eyes swollen and his muscles bulging. He still had a gun in his hand, and he panicked and fired twice at the air behind him, but he lost his balance and fell straight down the stairs...

Two seconds later, a tall figure walked out of the open door. He was wearing black clothes and black pants, with sharp short hair. He was playing with a saber in his hand. He walked slowly and steadily, his black military boots stepping on the solid wood floor.

Da...da...da...

Like the death knell...

"Baru, please, don't kill me. I'll give you all the gold. I don't want a penny. I'll give it all to you..."

The man fell to the ground, his face covered in blood, but he was completely unaware. He turned around, put his hands together to his nose, and knelt down to worship, begging the young man who was walking towards him with a murderous aura to give him a chance to live.

The black military boots finally stopped in front of him. The man kneeling on the ground didn't even dare to breathe. The boy opposite him squeezed out two words from his cold and indifferent Adam's apple.

"Really?"

"Yes... yes... twelve boxes of gold, buried under the osmanthus tree in the backyard, not a single piece missing..."

"Not enough." Two cold and light words came from above his head again, cold and light, with a bit of carelessness.

The trembling man was stunned for two seconds, then looked up and met the young man's cold eyes, "I really only...only...got these...the rest...was taken away by the second son of the Bai family..."

"What should we do then?" The young man squatted down, lifting the man's fat chin with the tip of his cold saber. "Twelve boxes of gold are only enough to buy your life, not the lives of your three wives and two children in your Thai villa..."

"You...what do you mean?" The man with blood on his face was stiff, his lips were blue and purple, and he gritted his teeth.

"Baru, I'm still serving in the Northern Joint Defense Force. My family is military dependents and is protected by the military. You... you dare..."

"Hmph!" The young man pursed his lips and sneered faintly, his narrow eyes flashing with murderous intent, and his cold voice emanated from his throat.

“Myanmar’s soldiers never protect the families of traitors who escape the country!”

A flash of cruelty flashed across the young man's eyes, and the man's heart tightened and his breathing stopped.

The man in front of him had dealt with him several times at the Joint Defense Army's Daqili Headquarters. He was the soul of the Allied Forces in Northern Myanmar. It was said that his parents died in a fight between drug traffickers, and he had killed someone with a gun when he was eight years old.

Other war orphans would have died of illness or starvation long ago, or been controlled by drug dealers with drugs and forced to become child soldiers, or been locked in an octagonal cage and forced to fight each other for their lives like animals. Only he killed the drug dealer who was guarding him and escaped with two companions. When he was found, he was squatting beside the corpse with a knife, cutting up human flesh and eating it.

Everyone in the entire Northern Myanmar Joint Defense Force, the Allied Forces, and even the Shan State Army knew the name "Evil Dragon Baru", although not many people had seen him.

The embarrassed man analyzed the current situation in his mind in an instant. It was obvious that he had no chance of winning.

"Eighty million!" He gritted his teeth, looked at the man in front of him, and squeezed out two words from between his teeth, "US dollars!"

"Not enough!" The boy didn't even raise his eyelids and spoke in his usual cold voice.

"The three largest jade mining areas in Dabao are all mine. I give them all to you. Is that enough now?" The man almost collapsed on the ground.

"Where's the money?" The young man curled his lips and showed a smile that was so faint that it was almost invisible.

“My study in my villa in Pattaya, Thailand!”

Baru raised an eyebrow and pressed the Bluetooth headset, "Go find it!"

A minute later, there was a popping sound in the earphones, followed by a cry of surprise, "Fuck, Lu Ge, it's really US dollars!"

The young man tapped the man's livid face with the tip of his knife. "Call your soldiers and have them withdraw. From now on, Dabao's mine will be owned by me!"

The man's shaking hands could barely hold the phone. Under the young man's venomous gaze, he dialed the number of his confidant.

The voice of his subordinate came from the Bluetooth headset, "Brother Lu, all the money has been moved out. What should we do with those three women and two children?"

The young man glanced coldly at the man slumped on the ground, "What do you think?"

"Understand...understand, Brother Lu!" The person on the other end was obviously scared into a cold sweat by these three cold words.

"Remember, I don't support idiots!"

After hanging up the phone, Baru put away the knife and walked outside.

The man who rushed out from the hail of bullets had eyes all over his body. The man behind him was stabbed in the throat by a flying saber before his fingers even touched the gun handle.

And the person who made the move didn't even look back.

The young man casually sat down on the leather sofa in front, took out a cigarette from his trouser pocket and lit it. After receiving a call from his subordinates that everything had been arranged, he lazily said,

"Come and take the gold away. I won't be back at the barracks for a while. If the deputy commander asks, just say I'm taking care of some personal business!"

When he came out, the rain had stopped. He took two steps before he felt a stinging pain in his arm.

I was hit by a stray bullet when I broke into the villa just now.

Dalala was sitting on the side of the road. He took out a piece of gauze from his backpack and wrapped it around twice. He was packing up when suddenly, a sharp motor sound was heard in the dark night. Then, two dazzling rays of light suddenly appeared on the bend ahead.

The red Ferrari, bright and flamboyant, was driving freely on the deserted street. Two seconds later, a black Ghost appeared from behind the Ferrari. The two cars were running parallel to each other. When they were about to exit the curve, the Ghost was obviously a better driver. With a drift, it forced the Ferrari to stop on the side of the road, right in front of Baru.
