Nanxi smelled the scent of Balu and fell into a deep sleep. She slept until dawn. When she woke up, Balu had already run three kilometers with a weight on his back and bought her breakfast.
There were two large bags on the ground, filled with flowers. Nanxi smiled at the bold style.
"Even if you're buying flowers, just buy one bouquet. Why so many?"
"It looks better with more." He answered as he inserted the straw into the soy milk.
Nanxi didn't say anything else, waiting for him to open the small table and put it on the bed and put breakfast in front of her.
Maybe it was because Balu enjoyed his food so much that it infected her. Nanxi usually only ate three dumplings, but today she ate five and drank a cup of soy milk, feeling very happy.
"Ba Xiaolu, can you please ask me when I can be discharged from the hospital? I don't want to stay here anymore." After finishing her meal, she was bored and started looking for something to do.
"Stay here and wait until your injury is healed before returning. Don't let any root of illness develop." Baru cleaned up the things on the table, gave instructions, and walked out with the garbage bag.
"I'm going to take out the trash and buy a bucket to soak the flowers in. You lie down for a while, okay?"
Nanxi found it funny. Only he could come up with the idea of soaking flowers in a bucket, but she also felt that his naivety was so cute, so she just let him do it.
Baru had just left the house when Yana called.
"Xixi, I'm ready. Balu's away these past two days, and Zhan Peng is so busy he hasn't even been home. Tomorrow morning, I'll just show up in front of him and leave. By the time he notices, it'll be night at the very least, and I'll have already left Southeast Asia."
Yana's voice on the other end of the phone was still gentle, but it was a little tired.
Nanxi was a little nervous. She looked towards the door before speaking, "Yana, have you thought it through? There's no turning back once you leave. There's no possibility for you and Zhan Peng to be together again."
"I've thought about it a long time ago, Xixi. He doesn't really care. He lives a more carefree life without me. I just feel sorry for my son. Xixi, please help me take care of Zhan Zhan and don't let those women in Zhan Peng bully him." Yana's voice was choked with sobs.
"Don't worry, I will. Even if you don't tell me, Balu won't let anyone bully Zhan Zhan."
"That's good, thank you, Xixi."
"Yana, don't carry too much money with you. The bank card that could be traced back to your identity information can no longer be used." Nanxi was still worried.
"I've arranged to give most of the money—"
"Don't say it." Nanxi stopped her, "Yana, don't say anything. From now on, don't let anyone know about your whereabouts, your new identity, and your final destination, including me. As long as you are a human, there is a risk of losing your secrets. The best way is to say nothing.
After my brother's people take you out, don't stay there. Use your new identity to move to a few more places to settle down. That way, no one will know where you are anymore."
Yana was crying inconsolably over there. Nanxi listened to her crying quietly. After several minutes, Yana spoke again.
"Xixi, I will always be grateful to you."
"I wish you will have choices in your future life, Yana. I wish you happiness and freedom." Nanxi's nose felt sore and her voice trembled slightly.
"Well, goodbye, Xixi. I won't use this number anymore."
"Well, bye, Yana!"
Nanxi finished speaking and hung up the phone.
Her brother must have been angry yesterday. In the past, when he was angry, Nanxi never took the initiative and had to wait for Nan Suzhi to come and coax her. But today, for Yana, she had to shamelessly call Nan Suzhi.
The call was answered almost instantly.
Nan Suzhi didn't sleep all night and sat in the study smoking until dawn.
He didn't expect his sister to call him on her own initiative, which was a bit surprising.
"Brother~" Nanxi called sweetly.
The mist in Nan Suzhi's dark eyes faded a lot, "What's wrong?"
"Brother, I'm sorry. I know you were angry with me yesterday." She said with an apologetic smile.
"It doesn't matter. In your heart, brother is never the first choice. I'm used to it." There was a strong bitterness in Nan Suzhi's words.
"Who said that, brother? You are very important to me. From childhood to adulthood, in my heart, you are more important than dad. You don't know how sad I cried when you said you were not my biological brother..."
Nanxi originally wanted to coax him, but as she spoke, she brought up sad things. Emotions surged in her heart and her voice began to tremble slightly.
Nan Suzhi sighed softly, "Luanluan, it's okay, don't cry, I'm not angry, you're still injured. I'll come to see you this afternoon after I finish my work, what do you want to eat?"
"Let's talk about food first, brother. I have something to tell you." Nanxi sniffed and got to the point.
"What's the matter?" Nan Suzhi smiled helplessly, knowing that this little thing would never take the initiative to bow to him unless there was nothing wrong.
"Do you remember the friend I told you about who wanted to leave Southeast Asia? She's ready. Can you have your people arrange for her to leave? It'll be done tomorrow."
"Okay, I'll arrange it." Nan Suzhi agreed without thinking.
For him, this matter was just a matter of making a phone call. Now that he could use this opportunity to get his sister to talk to him, he was of course happy to do it.
When Nanxi heard that he agreed, she flattered him for a long time, calling him "brother" and then hung up the phone.
Nan Suzhi called his confidant who was in charge of ocean transportation and asked him to contact Yana, send her away, and ensure her safety. After everything was arranged, he got up and left.
