"This is my business, it's none of your business. Which hospital is it in?"
"That John~" Zhan Peng replied angrily. Before he could complain again, Yana had already hung up the phone.
In the pediatric intensive care unit, chubby Dan Min lay on the small bed. After the treatment, she was exhausted and fell into a sound sleep. Saliva flowed down the corner of her mouth. Zhan Peng wiped it with a piece of paper.
"If I wasn't afraid that your mom would see me and pick on me, I wouldn't bother with you, a dirty girl."
The door of the ward was pushed open from the outside, and Yana ran in with a pale face. Seeing that Danmin was safe and sound, she felt relieved. She took a tissue and wiped the sweat from her forehead and the tears from the corners of her eyes.
"Thank you," she looked at Zhan Peng, "I will pay you back whatever the treatment cost."
Zhan Peng felt a sharp pain in his chest, and he was so angry that he felt like he was going to explode. "Yana, you really know how to poke my lungs."
"The child is asleep, can you please not be so loud?" The little woman glared at him with red eyes, then pulled the quilt over Dan Min and said, "Let's talk outside."
Zhan Peng's Adam's apple moved and he turned and walked towards the door.
Zanlong waited at the door but didn't come in. Zhanpeng went over and pushed him out, "Stay away from my wife."
"She is my girlfriend now." Zanlong stretched his muscles.
"Humph," Zhan Peng sneered, "She slept in my arms for four years. I know her temper better than you."
When she first came, she made up a lie saying that she had a husband. Bullshit! She wouldn't dare to do that even if she had eight hundred guts.
"If you ever hear me say that again, I guarantee you won't live to see the end of your life."
