Deang's armed forces are most active in northern Myanmar. He does all kinds of business and does anything that can make money.
From big things like escorting gangs transporting goods and fighting for other armed forces, to small things like grabbing territory for wealthy bosses and hunting "piglets" for industrial parks, they are willing to pay for anything.
Seeing that they had no territory, several major armed forces in northern Myanmar turned a blind eye and allowed them to earn some money by risking their lives, even though their combat effectiveness was not weak, just for the sake of making money.
As time went by, the De'ang Army gradually accumulated financial resources and was even able to afford more advanced weapons.
Balu went to Mandalay to hunt down the traitor. He originally planned to kill first and report later. He was afraid that the deputy commander would investigate, so he ran out to play for two days. He didn't expect to meet such a sucker. It would be a shame not to kill him.
But he never expected that this idiot would dare to point a gun at his head and gamble his life with him.
The young man stretched his neck back, his narrow, indifferent eyes dark and deep. "General, if you can't come up with chips that I like, then we'll stop here today. Once you've raised enough money, come back and play!"
As he spoke, he stretched out his long legs and was about to leave.
"Wait!" The man opposite narrowed his triangular eyes into a line.
The young man took a step forward, raised his eyelids slightly, and turned around.
"I'll bet you this!" As he said that, the man took out his cell phone and pulled out a photo.
"The Imperial Jadeite rough stone has an estimated market value of 100 million, enough to arm an army. I'm betting it with you!"
Baru sat back and tapped the table nonchalantly, "This broken thing is just a piece of stone. To put it bluntly, it has no market value. You want to gamble my life with it?
Besides, it's just a tattered photo. Who knows where you got it? Do I look so easy to fool?"
"This rough stone has been reported in the Yangon Times. You can check it out. It was bought by a Chinese businessman and robbed while being transported from Mandalay. Now it's in my hands. I can make a profit by reselling it. You don't dare to gamble, do you?"
The mentality of a gambler is that the more he loses, the more he wants to turn the tables.
Baru pursed his lips and said, "Not enough!"
Deang was stunned.
He can't lose.
I just took a gamble and lost my life on impulse.
Since I didn't gain any advantage by using force, I could only continue gambling.
I gritted my teeth and suddenly remembered something.
"I found a gorgeous girl a few days ago, the daughter of a wealthy family. I'll give her to you!"
"Humph!" the young man snorted disdainfully, "Am I in need of a woman?"
"How can a prostitute be the same as a rich lady? Do you know anything about the goods? Take a look, take a look."
The man said, took out his phone and pulled out a photo, "Chinese women, such a beautiful girl, you will never meet such a beautiful girl in your whole life in the Golden Triangle!"
The young man glanced at her impatiently, and before he could say no, he suddenly saw the champagne-colored skirt and the silver diamond-studded high heels. His heart seemed to be stung by something, and his wolf eyes suddenly opened up, as if there was a dark tide surging.
Although I didn't see her face that night, the girl's skirt, silver shoes, the cool and unique smell, and the delicate touch of the cake appeared in my dreams almost every night.
Even though the girl in the photo was unconscious with her head hanging down and her black hair covering her face, with just one glance, Balu could be sure that it was definitely her, the sweet-smelling, spoiled young lady with a bad temper and bad eyesight.
I wonder if she cried after falling into this situation. I suddenly want to see her cry...
He suppressed the strange feeling in his chest and nudged his cheek with the tip of his tongue. "If that's all your sincerity, then I'll take a picture and bet with you."
Seeing that the young man was about to leave impatiently, Deang raised his hand and winked at the door, and his confidant immediately understood and left.
"The raw stone is in Warehouse No. 3 in the suburbs of Mandalay. I'll have someone bring that girl over here right now!"
The surroundings fell into oppressive silence again.
Neither man spoke, each smoking a cigarette.
Five minutes later, someone pushed a cage covered with black cloth in through the door. In the gaps formed by welded steel bars, a champagne-colored skirt covered with mud, the texture of which could only be vaguely seen, was dragging on the ground.
The girl's silver high heels were gone from her barely visible ankles, and her slender white calves were covered in blood and dust.
The black veil was lifted, and the glaring light shone on her face. Nanxi instinctively closed her eyes.
There was a seal on her mouth, and even her cries were like cat whimpers.
Her hands were tied behind her back, her long, slightly curly black hair was disheveled, with a few strands stuck to her cheeks by tears. Her exquisite haute couture dress was covered in dirt, and the big silk bow had come undone, but it made her slender waist look even more alluring, as if it could be pinched in half.
The tiny girl huddled in the corner of the cage, her whole body trembling, her face covered in tear marks, her beautiful eyes flushed pink, the redness and swelling from crying so hard.
Nanxi never thought that after she ran away from her brother after getting angry with him, she would encounter a military riot. The moment the gunshots rang out, she was protected in her brother's arms, and they both fell to the ground. Before she could see if her brother was injured, someone put a gun to the back of her head.
When she woke up, she was locked in a cage. She didn't know whether it was day or night. For three whole days, she hadn't eaten a single bite of food except for a little bit of water every day. She was already weak all over and didn't even have the strength to cry.
"Look!" Deang kicked the cage with his foot. "Along, I guarantee you won't find another girl as beautiful as this in all of Southeast Asia. Even the daughters of the princess's mansion aren't as beautiful as this. I was originally going to send her to Yangon to exchange for a military rank. Is it worth risking your life on her?"
Nanxi didn't understand a single word the old man said in Burmese, but the gaze he cast on her was so strong that she could probably guess that she might be being treated as some kind of transaction.
