When Balu returned to the box, the three people inside were already having fun. Songchai and Yingbai were playing online gambling games, and Zhanpeng was holding the microphone and singing loudly.
"Damn it. Can you please stop howling? Every time you come out you sing like your wife has died. What a weird tune you sing. It's so fucking awful."
Balu glared at Zhan Peng unhappily, then sat down on the sofa and drank.
"What's it to you? Even if it's bad, you can't sing it. You're just jealous." Zhan Peng rolled his eyes at him, turned around and started singing Thai love songs again.
The man lying on the sofa squinted his eyes, thinking about how to deal with Liang Lu.
He couldn't bring her to the military camp. Once an unidentified woman appeared around Yingbai, she would be investigated thoroughly soon and might even be assassinated by the Thai military security department. If Liang Lu died by then, he would not be able to explain to his wife, let alone China.
"Song Cai, you have made great contributions in this joint operation. I heard that Prime Minister Hong awarded you the Warrior Badge of Country J, and General Wu personally approved your three-month leave?" Yingbai finished a game and started chatting with the man next to him.
"Well, wasn't I injured in the last operation? I was shot in the leg. The general asked me to go to the hospital for recuperation." Song Cai replied.
"How about you come with me to Thailand? I have a private sanatorium in Bangkok and I'll stay there for a few days. Would you like to come with me?" Yingbai invited him warmly.
Song Cai smiled meaningfully, "You're going there to recuperate with your lover, but who should I take? I'm going to watch you two having an affair every day and have to cover for you. Am I going there to recuperate or suffer?"
Yingbai seemed to have a lover outside. Song Cai had heard about this and accidentally brought it to light today.
"What?" Zhan Peng opened his eyes wide and forgot to put down the microphone. He shouted in surprise, and the whole box was deafening.
"Can you fucking put that thing down? Do you believe I'll smash it?" Baru, who was thinking, glared at his good brother irritably and angrily.
"Okay, okay, I won't sing anymore. You go back to sleep." Zhan Peng didn't bother to argue with him. His gossipy heart reached its peak. He rubbed his butt against Baru's leg and said, "Along, put your hooves away. You're really taking up space."
Balu kicked him in the butt in annoyance, then retracted his long legs, waited for Zhan Peng to sit back, and then put his two feet on his legs again.
Zhan Peng frowned, and chose the latter between beating him and listening to gossip. He pushed his good brother's foot away fiercely, and then looked at Yingbai.
"Damn it, you were having an affair? When did it happen? Tell me, who was it with?"
"Can you speak? Chunmei is not a mistress." Yingbai leaned back and lit a cigarette, "My wife knows about us. She has no feelings for me. We are just playing with each other.
The man she found was still working for me, and I never gave him any hardship. In exchange, she covered for me in front of my family, preventing them from discovering Chunmei's existence, let alone her identity.
Perhaps he had been suppressed for too long and needed an outlet to vent. Those present were all brothers who had fought together in a trench in northern Myanmar. It was a rare opportunity for Yingbai to speak out about his private affairs.
"Identity? What identity?" Zhan Peng's focus was only on what kind of woman was so charming that she could win over this unromantic man.
"She—" Yingbai hesitated for a moment, sighed, and said, "She used to be a man, but later underwent a sex change and became a woman. She is a very insecure person and is very dependent on me."
"Fuck~" Zhan Peng cursed, his eyes almost popping out, "Master Yingbai, you are still the best."
"Okay, keep your voice down. I'm on the phone. Have you forgotten what you're doing here? I'm knocking on your face." Baru scolded his good brother and then turned off his headphones.
"Brother, I found them. They're hiding in the village. It's only a few minutes' drive to Thailand. No one on either side cares about this village. I went in and took a look. There are people locked up in several houses."
On the other side of the headset was Cang Xiong, the captain of the Falcon Special Forces Team.
"Well, keep an eye on it and figure out the upstream and downstream routes before closing the net." Baru instructed.
"yes."
After hanging up the phone, Baru raised his eyebrows and looked at Song Cai.
"They'll bring people over in a while. Do you want to sleep?"
Song Cai rolled his eyes at him and asked, "Why don't you sleep with a prostitute?"
"Maybe you can find a clean one? Do you want it?" Baru asked again.
"No." Song Cai said firmly, "Who the hell would sleep with a woman in a place like this for no reason? Do you really think I'm crazy about women?"
After listening to the whole thing, Baru curled his lips and smirked, "Yeah, that's right, our Brother Song is looking for a wife who can live a stable life, not a one-night stand."
"No, Aaron, why are you talking so sarcastic today?" Song Cai looked at his good brother opposite him cautiously. Are you planning something bad?
"Who said that?" Baru rarely refrained from cursing. "I'm just worried that you might get into trouble if you try to find a wife, so I'm just being considerate of you."
"What kind of a jerk are you?" Song Cai's expression was indescribable. "I'm leaving with Yingbai tomorrow. You must be up to something bad. Let me tell you, you want me to cover for you while I'm injured so you can sneak back to Yangon to pick up your wife? No way. I've had enough of you two bastards."
Song Cai stretched his muscles and moved towards Yingbai. He always felt uneasy being stared at by this bastard and had to get away quickly.
The mama-san brought in a few more girls. This time, the "big bosses" finally stopped finding fault and gave them generous tips, saying they would take the girls out for the night.
