Chapter 479: Extra: Song Guessing Liang Lu

Bangkok International Airport, Thailand.

A man in casual clothes walked in front, with black sunglasses hanging on his high nose bridge. He had a majestic and awe-inspiring temperament and his steps were firm.

Behind him followed a woman covered in dust. She looked very thin, with dull hair. She kept her head down, with her hair hanging down from her temples, making it impossible to see her appearance clearly.

Song Cai walked while talking on the phone and cursing in Burmese. His steps were so fast and big that the woman behind him could only jog to follow him.

Outside, the housekeeper of the luxury sanatorium villa owned by Young Master Yingbai had been waiting for a long time. When he saw someone coming out, he stepped forward and saluted respectfully.

"Commander Songchai, I'm Pengwada, the housekeeper of the Moon Bay Sanatorium Villa. Young Master Yingbai has asked me to take care of your daily life. The nanny car is here. Do you want to go over now?"

Song Cai then took the phone from his ear, hung up the call, and squeezed out a syllable in a deep voice, "Hmm"

The man strode into the car. Seeing this, Liang Lu followed him and sat next to Song Cai, but she made her body as small as possible, taking up a very small space and staying as far away from him as possible.

Song Cai was already angry because he was betrayed by his brother, and cursing at her just now didn't make him feel better. Now seeing her like this, his anger inexplicably rose again.

"Although you're a servant, I don't have the habit of mistreating servants. It's only three months. You can do whatever you need to do. I won't make things difficult for you. There's no need to be so cautious."

He was angry with his brother, but he wouldn't bother with a woman like her.

Anyway, I have brought her out, can I still eat her? I am afraid that it will become like this.

The car drove into the sanatorium villa, and Song Cai was taken into the main building by the housekeeper.

"Sir, your room is on the second floor. I'll take you there now." The butler introduced respectfully.

Song Cai followed him up to the second floor. The rough man had no requirements for accommodation, as long as he had a bed. This was Yingbai's private sanatorium, so the environment was naturally impeccable. He walked to the French window and looked down at the hills, rippling pools, and colorful flowers not far away. He was in a good mood.

"That's it, go get busy."

The housekeeper replied "yes", then walked out the door without saying a word, passing by Liang Lu who was standing at the door like an invisible person.

This woman had been following the officer since she came in, without speaking or looking up. He didn't know her identity, so of course he didn't dare to ask. He complained in his heart, but he didn't stop walking away.

Song Cai looked at it for a while, and then he felt a little relieved. He turned around and wanted to go to bed, but then he saw Liang Lu standing at the door like a wooden stake. He took a deep breath and said in a cold and hard tone,

"What are you doing standing there?"

"Sir, you didn't tell me to leave, nor did you assign me any work." said the woman with her head lowered at the door.

Song Cai's Chinese was limited to daily communication, and he was not good at complex expressions. At this moment, he wanted to curse, but it felt like something was stuck in his throat. He suddenly didn't know how to speak. He took a few deep breaths and raised his hand.

"Go find the housekeeper and tell him I told you to get a room and some work done for you. Get out now."

Liang Lu got his words and bowed, "Okay, sir, you can rest first."

Songchai had suffered several gunshot wounds in a fierce battle not long ago. As soon as he was able to get out of bed, he went to Naypyidaw to report on his work, and then went to northern Myanmar. After days of traveling, his wounds had worsened a little, but he was used to it. He called a doctor, treated his wounds, applied medicine, and then lay down and fell into a deep sleep. He slept until noon the next day.

When the man got up, he felt something was wrong. Why were his clothes changed? Who changed them?

Before he could open his mouth, there was a knock on the door.

"Enter."

As soon as Song Cai finished speaking, the door was opened from the outside. A woman with a low ponytail and wearing a maid's uniform walked in with his clothes from yesterday. They had been ironed and neatly folded. Not only yesterday's clothes were gone, he realized then that even the suitcase he had brought was gone.

"You..." Song Cai was speechless for a moment, his Adam's apple rolled, but when he saw his underwear folded on top, the words were stuck in his throat again, and the knuckles that were pinching the thin blanket gradually turned white.

"Sir, the clothes have been washed, and I've put the things in your suitcase in the cloakroom. Are you going to wear this outfit today, or are you going out to meet guests? I'll prepare it in advance."

The woman standing by the bed with her head still lowered spoke like an emotionless machine.

"Just...just this..." The man on the bed was stunned for more than ten seconds before speaking.

Liang Lu nodded, then neatly sorted the clothes in her hands and came to the bedside of the frightened man.

"Sir, lunch is ready. Would you like to wash up and eat now?"

Song Cai tightened his grip on the blanket again, "Yeah."

This is so fucking weird. She was clearly kept as a servant, but why does it feel a little weird now?

Liang Lu got the answer, then squatted down, picked up the slippers on the ground, and put them on Song Cai's feet.

The moment those hands touched his feet, Song Cai froze, "You...you...what are you doing?"

He quickly pulled his foot back.

"I'll put on your shoes. You go wash up first and I'll clean up." She still didn't look up, holding the man's slippers in her hand, and answered without any emotion.

"I'm injured, but I'm not paralyzed. Do I need you to serve me like this?"

The person squatting on the ground paused with the slippers in his hand, then silently put the slippers on the ground, stood up, and stood aside properly.

Seeing her like this, Song Cai felt a little annoyed and scratched the back of his neck. "I don't need you to serve me here, you..."
