Three years later.
Yangon International Airport.
A slender but powerful woman in a black business suit, carrying a limited edition bag, with sunglasses covering most of her face, waist-length hair, and high heels, walked out.
Behind her, there was a tall and handsome man. He was holding a suitcase in one hand and a cute little girl over one year old in the other.
The little girl was wearing a puffy skirt, crying in the man's arms, complaining in not very fluent Burmese.
"Dad, Mom is so mean, she won't let Wenwen eat candy..."
"Be good, baby. When we get home and mommy is not around, daddy will feed you secretly, okay?" The man kissed his daughter's cheek with heartache, and with just a few words, he coaxed the little girl to stop crying.
"Sawen, if you dare to act pitiful and fool your father again, you are not allowed to buy toys this week." The woman in front turned her head and said, then started looking around again.
"Here...here...Brother Sun, I'm here..." Seeing the man in a black short-sleeved shirt not far away, Yin Yin excitedly waved, then rushed over, pinched Sun Cheng's face and pulled it for a long time,
"Tsk tsk tsk, Brother Sun, you're getting old..."
Sun Cheng flicked her head and said, "An old horse in the stable still has ambitions to run a thousand miles. What do you, a little girl, know?"
Yin Yin curled her lips in disdain and said, "Take it easy, don't hurt your waist."
"That damn girl is becoming more and more disrespectful." Sun Cheng was about to attack again, Yin Yin took two steps back and said seriously,
"Brother Sun, I'm your deputy now, the new deputy manager of the bank. You have to be polite to me, otherwise I will complain to Sister Xi."
"Your sister Xi is now accompanying Baru to attend the Southeast Asian Summit and won't be back for a while, so you'd better keep your tail between your legs and stop showing off." Sun Cheng dodged and flicked her forehead again, then went over and picked up the little girl in Sa Xun's hand.
"Baby, tell uncle, what's your name?"
The little girl put her hands together and said, "Hello, uncle. My English name is Linna, and my Burmese name is Sawin. You can call me Ma Sawin..."
Sun Cheng was so overwhelmed with fatherly love for this little adorable kid that he held him tightly all the way.
"Brother Sun, didn't you say that my sister-in-law would come to pick me up? Where is she?" When they arrived at the parking lot, Yin Yin still didn't see Liang Lu, so she asked in confusion.
Sister Xixi accompanied Brother Long on the visit, and Sister Yana accompanied Brother Zhanpeng to participate in military exchanges, but Sister Lulu said she would come to pick her up.
Sun Cheng's expression changed slightly, and he coughed dryly, "Um...Yinyin, I told you not to worry."
"What...what's wrong?" Yin Yin felt the meaning behind Sun Cheng's words, and her heart sank.
"Song Cai was injured in a skirmish last night. He was shot in the leg, but he's fine. He's been sent to Mandalay for treatment. Liang Lu rushed over overnight..."
Yin Yin's tears immediately flowed down. "Such a big thing, why didn't you tell me earlier? I'm not going back. Send me to the airport. I want to go to Mandalay..."
Brother Song Cai has been treating her with all his heart ever since he accepted her as his sister. She has long regarded him as her own brother.
"Yinyin, the fighting in Mandalay is very severe right now. The airport is in a semi-paralyzed state. You won't be able to get through even if you go there. Be obedient and let's go back first.
Songchai is the commander, and his safety is guaranteed. You should stay in Yangon and take care of things here, which is more beneficial than rushing over there impulsively."
Sa Xun raised his hand and held the person in his arms to comfort him.
Yin Yin turned around and pulled his arm, "But I'm worried. My brother...he's been injured a lot..."
"I know he's a hero in Myanmar. Don't worry, I'll contact the people there when I get back and have them take care of you. I'll send you a video and you can watch it and feel at ease."
Yin Yin nodded, "Okay... Then you can arrange it when you get back..."
"Mom, who hurt my uncle? When I grow up, I will avenge him..."
Little Sawen had been taught by her mother since she was a child how great her uncle and brothers were. Now, when she heard that her uncle, whom she admired, was injured, her little face turned red with anger.
"Good boy, when uncle comes back, we will go see uncle and aunt, as well as brothers and sister Xiaoen, okay?"
"Yeah, okay." Sa Wen nodded and raised his hand to wipe his mother's tears.
After returning to the Sa Mansion, Yinyin had a video call with Song Cai and Liang Lu, and her heart finally settled down.
The two older children in her brother's family were sent abroad to study, and only the youngest, Song En, was studying at the Yangon International School. Today was a holiday, so she asked someone to pick up Song En and bring her to her side. Only then did she feel relieved. She then went to the welfare home without stopping to take over Liang Lu's previous job, and was very busy.
It took me a week to sort out some things in the welfare home. When I got off work, I saw Sa Xun waiting at the door.
"Aren't you working overtime at the government building? How do you have time to pick me up?"
Sa Xun looked at her with his dark eyes, wanting to say something but stopping himself.
"Just say whatever you want to say. That expression is creepy." She curled her lips and looked at the man opposite her warily.
"Baby, my mother...is sick. My uncle couldn't bear it, so he brought her back home. When I was at work today, the housekeeper called and said that she and my uncle had gone home and were...having dinner with Wenwen and Xiaoen."
Sa Xun looked nervously at the expression of the woman opposite him.
He knew better than anyone how much she cared about her mother.
I had agreed to divorce her, but I couldn't let her go and went to Europe to pursue her. I pursued her for half a year as her boyfriend. On the day she finally agreed, I told her that we could be together but not get married.
