Chapter 504: Can You Live in Peace?

Han Yingna cried loudly, desperately and miserably. The man became annoyed and tried to comfort her. But when he saw that she wouldn't listen, he lost his patience and slapped her in the face.

Her face was hit and immediately tilted half an inch to the side. Her entire face was numb, and half of her brain hurt, and her ears were buzzing.

"Damn it! Behave yourself! If you make any more noise, I'll kill you..."

The man, having lost his patience, spread his legs and rode on her. He held her hands above her head with one hand and began to tear off her clothes with the other.

The woman on the bed was like a piece of meat on a chopping board. She turned her face away in despair, tears streaming down her eyes into her messy hair.

Bang--

Just as she closed her eyes, the flimsy door panel was kicked open from the outside, hitting the wall with a dull thud, and the door panel creaked and shook twice.

Han Yingna opened her eyes subconsciously and saw the indifferent yet sharp black figure standing at the door. His face was originally very tough, but because of the scar, it looked a little more terrifying.

The man on top of her was startled. "Captain Ling Dao? This is the mercenary dormitory. What are you doing here?"

Ling Dao's face remained expressionless for a thousand years. He walked to the bed with long legs and said coldly,

"Get down."

The man looked down at the woman on the bed, feeling a little unwilling, but it was really uncomfortable to speak in this position, and the look in the man's eyes made him even more uncomfortable, so he stepped down.

"What's the matter? Captain Ling."

As soon as Han Yingna was released by the man, she quickly raised her hand to pull up the clothes that had been pulled to her shoulders, tidied them up in a panic, got out of bed barefoot, and hid behind Ling Dao.

After seeing this, the man had nothing to understand. It turned out that this woman was given to Ling Dao by the master.

Damn, a confidant is a confidant, even women are divided into such extreme categories.

They, mercenaries, only have the opportunity to see women once a month. A corporal like him is assigned old women, and it's so boring to sleep with them.

Ling Dao looked at the mercenary as if he were trash, and without saying anything else, he turned and walked out the door. Han Yingna quickly wiped her tears, put on her slippers, and followed him.

"Captain Ling, you slept with this woman yesterday. Shouldn't it be our turn today?"

The mercenary corporal, irritated by the man's disdainful gaze, suddenly felt a surge of desire to win. Why? They all worked for the master, so why did he have all the privileges? In the castle, besides the master, even Butler Damai's treatment was not as good as his.

Ling Dao paused as he was about to leave, turned back, and glanced at the frightened woman. Only then did he notice the swollen handprints on her face. He poked his lips with the tip of his tongue and asked,

"He hit me?"

Han Yingna grabbed the collar of her shirt with both hands, looked up, and her tearful eyes met the man's black eyes. She bit her lip and nodded pitifully.

"Go out and wait for me for a minute."

After he finished speaking, he turned around, walked around her and headed inside.

Han Yingna didn't know what he was going to do, but she didn't want to stay in this place that smelled of a man's sweat for even a second, so she quickly walked out.

Bang--

The moment the door was slammed shut, there was a crashing sound from inside, not loud, but very urgent and fast.

He talked for a minute, but Han Yingna felt that it might have been less than a minute before the door opened and the cold and hard man walked out, and there was no movement inside.

There was a drop of blood on his brow, but he didn't notice it, and she didn't mention it.

Ling Dao walked in front and Han Yingna followed behind.

He has long legs, and even if he walks at a normal pace, it is difficult for women to keep up with him, and they have to run a few steps from time to time.

The cold wind outside was still biting. When Han Yingna followed him into the room, her legs were already numb from the cold. However, she felt guilty and didn't dare to move since she entered the room. She didn't know where to go. That room was his bedroom, and she didn't know whether he allowed her to go in.

Ling Dao went to the bathroom to wash his hands. When he came out, the woman was still standing at the door, her two long white legs clearly visible and... shaking.

He poured a cup of hot water and placed it on the coffee table, then went in and got a blanket.

"Come here—" the man began.

Han Yingna walked over reluctantly.

The man threw the blanket to her and said, "Drink some water."

Han Yingna raised her hand and picked up the cup of hot water on the table. The comfortable temperature passed through her hands, relieving the chill she had just felt. The goose bumps on her face, arms, and legs disappeared.

"Can you live peacefully? If you can, stay here. If not, I'll tell my husband and ask him to reassign you."

He never prepared anything for what he said, always speaking directly without any emotion, fiercely and coldly. Han Yingna was not used to it, or to be more precise, she didn't understand him.

I don't understand the way this man expresses himself. Is he making a statement or a threat? Or what his purpose is?

Looking at the woman's inquiring eyes, Ling Dao's impatience grew stronger.

"I'm not interested in threatening women. If you're willing to be my wife, stay and I'll support you. If you don't want to, just ask. Hurry up, I have things to do."

Han Yingna lowered her head, tears streaming down her face. For some unknown reason, she felt that she was living a life without dignity and was so humble.

She knew that here, her fate was not under her control. The reason why Nan Suzhi didn't kill her was that he wanted to keep her alive to explain to Nan Xi, hoping to ease the relationship with Nan Xi in the future. However, he could only let her live. As for how she lived, he didn't care at all.

And this man is so fierce, looks so scary, and has a bad temper. What if... what if he gets unhappy and attacks me?
