Chapter 56 Do you not want to, or do you just can’t bear it?

At the gate of Yuncheng Art College, energetic college students were coming in and out, but most of them pretended to be casual and took a sneak peek at the opposite side.

Across the street, the man leaning against the black McLaren was gentle and elegant, with a noble temperament. His straight and tall figure was wrapped in a navy blue haute couture suit, and his whole body revealed two words - rich.

When Nanxi finished class and went out with her painting supplies, she saw Nan Suzhi standing opposite her at a glance, but she didn't plan to go over. She calmly turned and walked to the other side.

"Luanluan!" Nan Suzhi caught up with her in two steps and stood in front of her.

"Luanluan, are you still angry with me? I'll apologize, okay? Don't be angry, baby!"

The girl's clear eyes showed no emotion. "Is there something wrong? If so, tell me. If not, please let me go."

"Luanluan, do you really have to talk to me like this?" Nan Suzhi pushed his glasses and said with a frown.

Nanxi still said nothing and turned away.

It has been a week since she returned to Yuncheng, and she hasn't said a word to Nan Suzhi.

She didn't expect that Nan Suzhi would lie to her. Her grandfather had clearly gone to the cadre sanatorium in Hainan to recuperate with his old comrades, but he lied to her that her grandfather was in the ICU.

She didn't know what was wrong with her. She was so angry that she smashed her things, left the old house, and went to live in her own small apartment. She never wanted to see this liar again.

She couldn't sleep for a long time every night.

If she hadn't been worried about her grandfather, she would never have left in such a decisive and hurtful way, making Balu hate her for the rest of his life.

But now that things have come to this, she can only accept it.

Every morning when she woke up, the first thing she wanted to ask was, "Baru, where is my underwear?" But the words got stuck in her throat for a long time, and her heart felt like it was blocked by a ball of cotton.

"Luanluan, it was Dad's idea to transfer you to another school. You know his temper, so don't argue with him. Besides, this is for your safety." Nan Suzhi reached out to pull her, but she dodged sideways.

The man narrowed his dark eyes, and his dark eyes wandered over her delicate face.

"Luanluan!"

"I understand. You arrange it. When we get there, just buy me a small apartment next to the school." After she said that, she turned and was about to leave.

"Luanluan, can I take you to lunch? After lunch, we'll go home. I'm going to Mandalay tomorrow and probably won't be back until the Chinese New Year. Don't let me leave with regrets, okay?"

The girl still pouted and refused to speak, but after thinking for a few seconds, she got into the car angrily.

The gloom on the man's face finally dissipated, a faint smile appeared on his thin lips, he shook his head, and got into the car.

The space inside the car was small, and the girl's cool body fragrance seemed to be stronger than before, filling his senses from time to time. The man tugged at his tie irritably, and a fire was burning in his heart.

They were both men, and he could tell from the man's body language at a glance.

His sister had been gone for such a long time, and he had been mentally prepared for some things. However, when he saw her increasingly mature and charming figure, the restlessness in his heart grew like wildfire.

In the end, he could no longer possess the complete Luanluan.

It doesn’t matter. It’s not her fault. As long as he kills the man named Baru, he will pretend nothing happened.

On the way back from dinner, Nanxi fell asleep. When she woke up, the car had already arrived at the old house.

"Didn't I ask you to take me to the apartment?" The girl frowned and looked at the man beside her with a hint of anger on her face.

Nan Suzhi gave the driver a look, and the driver got out of the car and left as if he had been pardoned.

"Luanluan, you've already forgiven me, so why do you want to go back to the apartment?"

Nanxi calmed down and said, "I don't want to stay here!"

The bigger the house, the lonelier and less popular it is without family members.

"Dad will be back in two days. If he doesn't see you, he'll start to scold you again. Brother and Grandpa are not around, and you'll cry again if you get scolded. Be obedient and stay in the old house. I'll feel more at ease with Aunt Ying by my side."

Nan Suzhi reached out and wanted to touch the top of her head, but Nan Xi tilted her head to avoid him.

The man's hand froze in mid-air for more than ten seconds. Under his gold-rimmed half-frame glasses, his narrow eyes were filled with deep gloom.

"Luanluan, are you really angry because I lied to your grandfather about being sick?"

Seeing her pursed lips and remained silent, Nan Suzhi bluntly pointed it out, "Although you are willful, you are never unreasonable. You should know that there is a rule of thumb. If I hadn't said that at the time, would you really have cooperated?"

"I will."

"No, you won't!" Nan Suzhi said firmly, grabbing the girl's slender wrist. "From the moment you let him touch you, I knew that if there was a way out, you would definitely not attack him."

Nanxi has always known that her brother is good at winning people's hearts. She didn't think it was a big deal before. She even thought that her brother had a high emotional intelligence and could see through her little thoughts. Giving her gifts, coaxing her, and standing up for her would make her very happy. But now, she feels a little scared.

No one wants to have their thoughts pried into.

"He saved me and was very nice to me. I don't want to hurt him. What's wrong with that?" The girl wanted to pull her hand back, but failed after trying twice.

"Luan--Luan!" Nan Suzhi narrowed his eyes and stared at his sister's beautiful face, looking sinister and terrifying.

"Don't you want to, or can't you bear it?" He almost squeezed out the last three words through his teeth.

He knew this simple-minded sister too well. On the surface, she looked covered with thorns, but when he got closer, he realized that those thorns were just camouflage on newly grown thorn vines, so tender that they would break at the slightest touch.

She lost her mother at a young age and was extremely insecure. She was timid, fragile, and cowardly, but she was soft and kind at heart.
