The men dragged the girl out of the back door of the mall and led them to a small alley. Suddenly, a tall and evil man came over from the side, with a cigarette in his mouth and an M1911 in his hand. He exuded a murderous aura and it was obvious that he was not someone to be messed with.
"I'll give you a minute to think about it. If you want to live, leave your people behind. If you want to die, come here and report."
Arrogant, wanton, and overbearing.
The girl stared at the man in front of her with tears on her face, her eyes full of desire, and she choked with sobs for help.
The men exchanged glances, and the leader, a man with a tattoo on his arm, stepped forward and said, "Who are you? Mind your own business."
"Thirty seconds left." He was still calm and composed, even his tone was light, but anyone could sense the murderous intent beneath this indifference.
The few of them looked at each other, left the person behind, and drove away.
Baru watched the van go away without even raising his eyelids. He put the gun behind his waist and turned to go back to the mall.
"Brother Along?" the girl called out tentatively.
The man who turned around stopped, turned back, frowned, and looked at her without saying a word.
"Is this Brother Along? I'm Yinyin, do you still remember me?" The voice was still cautious.
…
Nanxi sat in the coffee shop, waiting obediently for Balu to come back, but when she looked up, she saw that not only did he come back alone, but the girl was following him. She was a little surprised and looked at him with puzzled eyes.
"Xixi, her name is Yinyin. She was my neighbor from the same village when we were little. I never thought she was still alive and that I would actually meet her here."
Nanxi was also surprised that there was such a coincidence in the world. She looked up at the girl who looked like a frightened little rabbit.
She has wheat-colored skin with a healthy and textured glow, long straight hair, and eyelashes that are not thick but very long. She has almond eyes and pink lips. She has the image of a good girl next door.
"Hello, sister!" Yinyin put her hands together and lightly touched the tip of her nose, then saluted her carefully. Although she didn't understand Burmese, Nanxi knew that she was greeting her, so she followed the local custom and returned the greeting.
"Have you asked her why she was arrested? Does she have any relatives? Let's send her back."
"I asked her, and she said that when she was little, her aunt took her to work, and she escaped the massacre in the village. She later lived with her aunt, but that family didn't treat her well. When she grew up, they sold her to the red-light district. At that time, she was young and only did cleaning and rough labor there. Later, when she grew up, the madam wanted to sell her to an old pervert, but he ran away. After being caught, he was almost beaten to death. Later, she was rescued by a young man and has been following that man ever since."
Baru took a sip of water and wanted to smoke, but he was afraid that his wife would glare at him, so he pulled his hand back and continued speaking.
"That man is also a pervert. He imprisoned her and forced her to give birth to a child. She escaped several times and was caught every time. If she hadn't run into us today, she would probably have been caught again."
He spoke so calmly and without even using any modifiers, speaking in a completely straightforward manner.
Big men are careless, but Nanxi is different.
Her hair is very shiny, her skin is delicate and fine with no visible pores, her nails are clean, and the clothes she wears are from a light luxury brand known for its low-key luxury. If anyone says that she is not cherished and treated with great care, she would think she has seen a ghost.
"Baru, translate for her. Since she's so pitiful, let's call the police and have them arrest that bad guy."
Nanxi's gentle eyes were fixed on the reaction of the girl opposite. Yinyin's face turned visibly pale, and she said something to Balu anxiously.
Nanxi stirred the coffee in the cup slowly and listened to Balu translating for her.
"She said she had called the police before, but they sent her back to the man, and begged us not to call the police."
"What if I don't call the police? I can't just take her home, right?" The woman's sixth sense told her that the girl was probably not telling the truth.
Baru scratched his head. As a rough old man, he had no idea how to deal with women's trivial matters.
"Wife, how about throwing her back onto the street? And giving her some money?"
Nanxi rolled her eyes at him. "You've already brought someone here, how are you going to throw him away? Besides, he's your former neighbor after all. How rude of you to do that?"
"Then what do you say we should do? I'll listen to you." He was extremely annoyed. He had intended to please his wife, but he had unexpectedly caused trouble.
"Didn't you tell me that you'd set up a club for Natu to run? Or, why not send her to Natu's place? You're all from the same village anyway."
The man chuckled and said, "My wife is smart."
He spoke to Yin Yin for a few words, and only when he saw her nod hesitantly did he call Na Tu. The two of them took her to eat something and drove the girl to the club.
This was Nanxi's first visit to "Paradise". The decoration and facilities inside were all designed by a top team, and they are among the best in the whole of Yangon. Those who come here to consume are all upper class people in Yangon.
The manager came over and took Yin Yin away to make arrangements, and Baru took Nanxi directly to the top floor.
The top floor is not open to the public and is their private area.
The younger brother below brought up a fruit plate, and Baru handed it to Nanxi, "Xixi, have some fruit."
"Is this the club you and Natu invested in?" Nanxi asked curiously.
"Zhampong, Natu and I invested in the company. Zhanpong and I each put in half the money, so we each hold 35% of the shares. Natu and his wife manage the company and hold 30%."
Baru sat down beside her with a big horse and golden knife, and pulled her into his arms with his long arms. "How is it, wife? I decorated it according to the club that Brother Qian built in Jing City. It's the most luxurious one in Yangon."
