Ba Lu made a video call to Wu Meng in the car. When Wu Meng saw his son's appearance, his face turned black. He asked Ba Lu to take the boy to his place first and clean him up. If his wife saw him in such a dirty state, she would ignore him for a week.
When Balu, Songchai and Boha arrived at the villa, Nanxi had already asked the kitchen to prepare dinner.
There were a lot of people today, so she simply asked people to go to the yard and prepare a small buffet dinner.
Wu Jie was too lazy, so Ouyang Zhen had always dressed him in sports suits or trendy children's clothes since he was a child. However, Nanxi's aesthetic taste was completely different from Ouyang Zhen's. She asked someone to buy Wu Jie a small formal suit and paired it with a navy blue bow tie.
That kid looks like Wu Meng, but his eyes are like Ouyang Zhen. His parents are both top-notch in appearance, so naturally, the child he gave birth to is not bad. When Wu Jie was brought out, Nanxi was almost overwhelmed by his cuteness. She didn't even care about Nannan in her hand anymore, and stuffed it to Balu, ran over, and rubbed Wu Jie's face.
"Wow, so cute, handsome boy. He will charm so many girls when he grows up. And with his status as a prince, he's unbeatable."
Wu Jie rarely did anything stupid. He stared at the little sister in front of him who was prettier than his mother, letting her pinch his face, making the tips of his ears blush.
"Baby, your name is Xiao Jie, right?" Nanxi took his little hand and sat down, her voice unspeakably gentle.
"I'm not a baby. Dad said I'm a man." Wu Jie looked up and emphasized.
Nanxi laughed out loud at his cute words, "How funny, how can there be such a cute child."
Wu Jie looked at her seriously, "I'm not a child, I'm a man. Do you have a boyfriend? I can consider having you as my girlfriend."
puff--
Song Cai had just taken a sip of beer when he vomited it all out after being shocked by Wu Jie's words. Biaozi on the opposite side was sprayed with beer by him and was so angry that he picked up the tissue on the table and threw it at him.
Balu's face immediately turned dark. He put Nan Nan down and was about to teach this shameless boy a lesson, but was stopped by Nanxi.
Nanxi laughed even harder, "Hahahaha... Prince, you are of noble status, I can't afford to marry you."
Wu Jie held her hand with his small hand and said, "It's okay, don't be afraid. I will protect you. No one will dare to bully you."
He spoke standard Chinese and had a serious expression. Nanxi laughed so hard that her stomach hurt.
"Then guess why I am here?"
Wu Jie scratched his head. "You prepared dinner for us. Are you Uncle Long's maid? Or the housekeeper?"
Nanxi glanced at Balu, whose face was full of gloom. Her eyes turned red from trying so hard to hold back her laughter, and she nodded continuously.
"Uncle Long, please give this young lady to me." Wu Jie turned around and looked at Baru with a serious face.
"How about I give you half of the private property my grandfather left me?"
A group of soldiers around were drinking and bragging loudly. Except for Song Cai and his friends, no one noticed the sudden drop in temperature here.
"Uncle Long, please speak." Wu Jie didn't notice the dark energy on Baru's face at all. He went over and took Nanxi's hand, and emphasized,
"It's this young lady. Let her go home with me, okay? I want her to be my girlfriend."
Song Cai was laughing so hard that he couldn't breathe. Nan Xi also covered her face with one hand and giggled. Only two men, one big and one small, looked at each other, and the atmosphere was subtle.
"Wu Jie, if you don't want to live anymore, I can give you a ride." Baru looked at the little boy opposite him expressionlessly, his blood boiling. "Let go of your claws."
Wu Jie's expression also changed. "Uncle Long, what do you mean? My father is still here, and you want to rebel?"
"If you dare to think about my wife, I'll fight you." He hugged Nanxi with his big hands, pulled his little hands away, and twisted Nanxi's waist. "Is it funny?"
Nanxi put one hand on his shoulder and rested her forehead against it, still unable to stop laughing.
Baru put his arm around his waist, asserting his sovereignty, and raised his chin. "Boy, you have good taste, but unfortunately, your luck is a bit off. Once your hair grows back, try finding a wife like others. Do you understand?"
Wu Jie pouted and tried hard to hold back his tears, "Uncle Long, you are no longer my uncle, you are my enemy."
He snorted, turned and ran away.
Baru picked up the beer on the table and took a gulp, muttering in disdain, "Little brat."
Then he pulled the still smiling Nanxi out of his arms, his dark eyes wandering back and forth on her pretty face, "Nanxi, you're too attractive. I have to hide you."
Nanxi rolled her eyes at him and said, "You are such a jerk. You even bully children."
Baru nudged his cheek with the tip of his tongue, put down his beer,
"You know what? There are no children in Myanmar, only men. He will be able to go to the battlefield in two years."
Nanxi's pretty face was filled with gloom and she didn't say anything.
When Na Tu came over, he happened to meet Wu Meng's men coming to pick up Wu Jie.
Wu Jie had fallen asleep and was carried into the car.
Na Tu glanced at the sleeping Wu Jie, with hidden emotions in his eyes.
Balu and Nanxi looked at each other, and neither of them had the heart to speak any more to persuade them.
There are some things that cannot be advised or mentioned. We can only pray that time will be kinder and slowly bury and fade the fatal pain.
…
After entering the living room, Na Tu lit a cigarette and said, "Along, why did Yin Yin go back to the club to work again? Didn't she go back with Sa Xun?"
"I don't know. Let her be. By the way, she helped a lot with today's matter. Remember to give her a raise when you go back." Baru replied casually.
"I heard from Yinyin that Saxun killed his second uncle, cousin, and younger cousin?" Na Tu asked with a frown.
