Chapter 98 What kind of man is he if he can’t even keep his wife

"What's wrong, baby? Are you crying?" Baru looked at her with his black eyes and rubbed the little woman's fair face with his thumb.

"Baru, have all your men withdraw and stop staring at my father, otherwise he will deal with you."

Only after the car drove out of the colorful area did Nanxi speak softly.

"What did your father say to you?" Baru asked while looking at her while driving.

"I just feel like he's probably busy with something important and can't take care of us, so let your people withdraw first. Don't provoke him, or he'll try to force me to break up with you."

The man pursed his lips and said, "Yeah, I get it."

"By the way, who was chasing you last night? Have you found out?" Nanxi was still worried and asked with a frown.

"Is there any need to check?" Baru sneered, "I asked someone to check just for show."

"Do you know who did it?" Nan Xirun's eyes widened. "Who was it?"

"You don't know that person. He is Mengge's strongest political enemy, Sakun, the commander-in-chief of the Central Military Region." He said calmly.

"Why did he want to kill you?"

"Before I came to Yangon, he could still compete with Mengge, and his son was barely enough. After I came to Yangon, they found that Mengge still had me in his hand. Now the balance within the military government has been broken, and they must find a way to kill me."

"Where did they get the courage to attack you on a city street?" She grew up in China, and her only knowledge of this kind of street gunfight came from movie clips.

Baru scoffed. "What's the big deal? If they shoot at me on the street, it's no different than if I storm into Sakun's house and behead him."

Nanxi pursed her lips and said nothing. She always wanted to numb herself and not care or listen to what Baru did.

As the car drove onto the main road, Na Tu's phone called.

"Aaron, where are you? Come to the club."

Balu looked at Nanxi and asked in a deep voice, "What's the matter?"

"A man came to the club, claiming to be Yinyin's husband, and wanted to take her away. Yinyin cried and refused to leave. The man brought a group of soldiers with him, and no one knew where they came from."

"Got it, I'll come over now."

After hanging up the phone, Balu made a sharp turn and headed towards the city center.

"What happened?" Nanxi asked with a frown.

"A man came to the club and wanted to take Yin Yin away, saying he was her husband."

Nanxi's eyes turned, "Go and take a look."

As soon as Baru and Nanxi reached the entrance to the club, they saw two teams of guards standing in neat rows inside. It was not business hours, and the club hall was empty. Only a man, cigarette in hand, sat on a single sofa, exuding a distinguished presence. Across from him sat Natu, in a wheelchair, and Yinyin, a sobbing woman.

Nanxi glanced at Baru, and the man rubbed her head, took her hand and walked inside.

Balu's aura was too strong, and his figure was tall and straight. Everyone inside looked over here. He pursed his lips, expressionless, arrogant and evil. He sat down in the main seat with his horse and golden sword, one hand around Nanxi's waist, the other hand hooked her fingers and played with them, and he didn't even raise his eyelids to look at the man with a dark face next to him.

"Are you the boss here?" the man next to him spoke first.

Baru remained silent. He let go of Nanxi's hand and took out a cigarette. A discerning younger brother stepped forward and handed him a light. The white smoke slowly rose, blurring his handsome features. He narrowed his dark eyes for a long moment before speaking softly, "What's up?"

Saxun is a well-known playboy among the powerful class in Yangon. He is arrogant and cold-hearted because his father is in a high position and holds real power. He has always been arrogant and looks down on everyone. From childhood to adulthood, this is the first time he has seen someone more arrogant and domineering than him. His face can't help but turn cold.

"My wife had a fight with her family and ran away. She hid here with you. Your people won't let her go. Can you give me an explanation?"

Baru let out a cold, sarcastic laugh. "Damn it! Your wife ran away and you're here to ask for an explanation?" He glanced coldly at Yin Yin, who was not far away, and sneered again. "What kind of man is he if he can't even keep his wife to himself?"

His attitude was indescribably casual and contemptuous, and he played with Nanxi's hair from time to time. Nanxi was annoyed by him, so she reached out and pulled her hair back, glaring at him.

Baru then turned around and raised his chin, "Who the hell is your wife?"

Sa Xun was about to explode with anger. He clenched his hands into fists at his sides and took a few seconds of rapid breathing to adjust himself.

"Yinyin, can you come home with me now?"

Just now, when he wanted to take the person away, the man in the wheelchair refused to let him go, saying that the person was arranged by the boss and they had to wait for the boss to come and give the order. Yin Yin also hid behind the man and refused to come out, so he had been patient for so long. Now that the man had come, he didn't want to stay any longer, so he raised his hand and called for someone in the direction of Yin Yin.

"Brother Along, I don't want to go back with him. Can you help me?" Yinyin shook her head and took two steps back. She moved to Baru's side and pulled his arm.

Nanxi and Saxun's eyes fell on Yinyin's hand on Balu's arm at the same time, with ambiguous expressions in their eyes.

Baru turned his head and glanced at Nanxi, "Wife?"

Nanxi's face didn't show much emotion as she spoke calmly, "Tell Yinyin that if she doesn't tell the truth, we can't keep her."

Yinyin had already withdrawn her hand, pursed her lips and looked at Balu when Nanxi looked at her.

Before Balu could finish his words, Saxun raised his hand and the guards below came over to pull Yinyin away.

Yinyin once again raised her hand and pulled Baru for help, "Brother Along, I really don't want to go back with him. He is a devil, I am afraid..."

Baru raised his foot and kicked the guard out. The guard lay on the ground and fainted.

Sa Xun's dark eyes darkened as he looked at Balu without saying a word. He had never seen such a strong man in Yangon. He could kick a well-trained guard so hard that he couldn't stand up. His fighting ability was simply too strong and he must be from a prominent background.

But then again, how could someone who could open such a large club in Yangon be weak?

"Yin Yin, don't challenge my patience!" The man with a gloomy face spoke again.

Ba Lu pulled his hand back and looked at Yin Yin with deep eyes.

"My wife said, you'd better tell the truth, otherwise we won't keep you."

"Brother A'long, we are from the same village, please help me." Yinyin wanted to pull him away, but he dodged her and sat back on the sofa. "I listen to my wife. If my wife asks you to leave, there is no way I can keep you."

Yin Yin then looked at Nan Xi, clasped her hands together and begged her cryingly.

Nan Xirun glanced at Yin Yin coldly, then glanced at the man next to her who had a sullen face and was trying hard to control his emotions. "Yin Yin, you still don't want to tell the truth?"

Baru translated Nanxi's words verbatim. Yinyin hesitated for a few seconds before speaking.

"Brother Along, he's the man who forced me to do what I told you about. I don't like him, but he bought me from Mama-san with money, and I don't want to be his plaything."
