Unexpectedly, Jiang Si actually knew everyone in the Gallic Embassy in China.
From the way they were talking happily, one could tell that their relationship seemed unusual.
"Chi, do you know her?" Just as everyone was talking about it, a blonde girl in a little dress suddenly asked curiously.
Chi Heng adjusted his glasses and said, "Yes, Chris, she is an old friend of mine."
"Old friend?" Chris seemed a little surprised.
How come he didn't know anything about the incident with his old friend in China?
"Yes, we've known each other since we were kids."
Chi Heng explained with a frank look, but it was obvious that Chris didn't quite believe what he said.
"You haven't seen each other for so many years, how did you recognize her at first sight?"
"Chris, this is my personal matter. I don't need to report everything to you."
Noticing his tone was off, Chris softened her tone immediately, "Sorry, I'm just curious."
As she spoke, she looked at Jiang Si several times.
They both spoke Gaulish, a language Jiang Si was not very proficient in.
She could still see clearly the wariness in the girl's eyes.
Chi Heng also understood.
He understood that it was the impatience on Jiang Si's face.
So he explained aloud, "We ran into each other a few days ago. We just had a quick chat then, but I didn't expect to see you here again today."
"So that's how it is." Chris could finally rest assured.
You can't blame her for thinking too much, Chi Heng is just too outstanding.
Even though her father was the ambassador to China, she couldn't be proud in front of Chi Heng.
Furthermore, the girl in front of her was different from the other girls she had seen in China in the past few days.
She is beautiful and charming, with exquisite features, just like a doll.
The temperament is also unique.
Even though she was wearing the most ordinary gray work clothes, it couldn't conceal her radiance at all.
Most importantly, in all the years Chi Heng had been abroad, he had never talked to any girl as much as he did today.
Out of instinct, Chris became wary the first time she saw Jiang Si'er.
"Chi, won't you help me introduce it formally?" Chris blinked.
The first thing she said was standard Chinese, and it was obvious that she did it on purpose.
Chi Heng paused, and his gaze fell on Jiang Si'er again.
"This is Chris, the daughter of the ambassador to China. She is currently working in cultural exchange at the embassy."
"Hello, Miss Chris, I'm Jiang Si." Out of politeness, Jiang Si nodded in greeting.
"Hello." Chris said with a smile, "You are Chi's friend, so you are my friend. This is my business card. Please contact me when you have time."
Jiang Si understood what the other party meant.
It seems that Chi Heng and her have a special relationship.
But that's not her concern.
As she took the business card, Jiang Si said, "You two, please go ahead. I have some personal matters to attend to. We'll see you later."
After saying that, she nodded slightly at the two of them, then quickly walked across the street.
"Why didn't you tell me in advance that you were coming back?" Jiang Si looked up at him with a smile on her lips.
The person he thought about day and night was standing in front of him, and it was hard for Huo Tingzhou not to be moved.
"I wanted to give you a surprise."
Jiang Si deliberately kept a straight face, "Are you sure it's a surprise, not a shock?"
Huo Tingzhou said nothing, his eyes fixed on her.
Jiang Si tried hard to suppress the smile on her lips, but finally found that she couldn't suppress it, so she had to admit it.
"Well, I was pleasantly surprised."
If she didn't have something important to do later, she would want to go home with him right now!
