Su Wantang's heart skipped a beat.
She has a high fever, severe abdominal pain, and is unable to produce breast milk.
This is acute mastitis, and it looks quite serious.

Su Wantang's face darkened completely.
This is caused by inflamed and purulent milk stasis. It must be drained immediately, otherwise the high fever will persist, which will be more dangerous. If the abscess becomes severe, surgery to drain it will be necessary, causing great suffering and making it impossible to breastfeed again.

Upon hearing this, Wen Yuzhen dared not delay and immediately turned around to do it.

Her words were like a hammer, striking Liu Fen's heart again and again.
On one hand, there's the short pain of a single injection; on the other hand, there's the seemingly endless, life-threatening pain, and the fear of being stabbed.
Wen Yuzhen had already brought over the scalded bowl and gauze and placed them on the table next to her.
Liu Fen gritted her teeth, as if making a huge decision, closed her eyes, and nodded heavily. "...Okay, I'll do as you say, Dr. Su, go ahead and do it!"
"Mom, help me support her."
Su Wantang held the sterilized silver needles and took a deep breath. She gently supported the swollen area with one hand, and with the other, she began to apply the acupuncture needles—
"Don't be afraid, it will be soon."
