The family of three was busy in the kitchen.
Before long, the steaming hot food was served.
On the table were braised pork ribs, chicken stew with mushrooms, tomato and beef brisket soup, boiled shrimp, cucumber salad, and stir-fried yam and wood ear fungus.

The elderly couple insisted on not letting Su Wantang cook, so Su Wantang could only sit on the sofa and watch TV.

"Mmm." Su Wantang lowered her eyes and sipped her drink slowly.
