After taking a bath, Su Wantang changed into clean clothes and stood in front of the mirror. Her skin was white and bright, as if she had a built-in beauty filter. Her features were bright, her dark almond eyes were clear as water, and her overall temperament was outstanding, both pure and alluring.
She looks better than before.
I wonder if Lu Linchuan would like it even more if he saw it.
Thinking of Lu Linchuan, Su Wantang's face flushed.
They couldn't be together in their past life, but in this life, she wants to live a good life with Lu Linchuan and be a good wife.
After changing her clothes, Su Wantang took out the pork and brown sugar from Zhang Hongwei's refrigerator. She picked out the tenderloin part of the pork, cut it up, and used the kitchen in the space to make a sweet and sour pork dish with a crystal clear color.
Su Wantang slaughtered one of Zhang Hongwei's old hens, removed its internal organs, cut off its tail, and chopped it into pieces.
Su Wantang put spiritual spring water into a pot, added scallions, ginger, garlic, cooking wine and chicken pieces to cook together to remove the fishy smell. When the chicken pieces were cooked, she took them out and put them in another pot. She heated oil in a wok, added scallions, ginger, garlic, mushrooms and chicken pieces, added soy sauce and simmered it over low heat.
As for the rice in Zhang Hongwei's house, Su Wantang took some out and put it into the pressure cooker in her space, then added spiritual spring water to slowly steam it.
There was still a lot of flour in the space, and since it was just sitting there, Su Wantang mixed the flour with spiritual spring water and rolled it out into dough sheets while waiting for the soup to simmer.
There were also some shiitake mushrooms, pork, and glass noodles in the space.
Su Wantang chopped the shiitake mushrooms into small cubes, cooked the vermicelli until soft and chopped it into small cubes, then mixed them with the minced pork to make a shiitake mushroom, vermicelli and pork filling.
She wrapped one large steamed bun after another. The wrapped buns were plump and round, with delicate and even pleats at the top, thin skin and generous filling.
Su Wantang put all the wrapped buns into the steamer to steam.
At this moment, the pot of stewing old hen soup was emitting an enticing aroma of meat and fresh mushrooms, with bubbling steam rising from the lid.
Steam was rising from the pressure cooker, emitting an enticing aroma of rice.
Su Wantang opened the pressure cooker. The rice inside was steamed until it was soft, white, and translucent, glistening with light. She scooped out a bowl of rice with a spoon, then ladled out a large bowl of old hen soup and placed it on the dining table, alongside the sweet and sour pork tenderloin.
Looking at the table full of tempting, fragrant dishes, Su Wantang swallowed hard.
She took a bite of the stewed old hen and her eyes lit up!
The meat is tender and delicious, and the broth is rich and flavorful. It smells amazing!
And the rice cooked with this spiritual spring water is soft, sticky, sweet, and melts in your mouth. It's even a little sticky, and the aroma is simply divine!
Su Wantang ate to her heart's content.
At the same time, Zhang Xuehui opened her eyes in the grass. She sat up and found herself shirtless, her underwear torn and covered in purplish-blue marks. Her body ached as if she had been run over by a car! Every part of her body hurt!
She forced herself to sit up and found a pool of dark brown blood where she had been sitting.
Zhang Xuehui's face turned deathly pale! (This chapter has been read. Please click to continue reading the next chapter!)
