Chapter 51 Going to Jail (1/4)

Li Hongxia thought of someone—her eyes were filled with coldness.

Zheng Nana is the brigade commander's daughter, and she has liked Lu Linchuan for a long time, but her love for him is unrequited.

If Zheng Nana knew that Lu Linchuan had already married and that his wife was pregnant, she would naturally take action against Su Wantang without Zheng Nana having to lift a finger.

Su Wantang's life will definitely not be easy then!

Judging by the dates, Zheng Nana's performance is almost over, and she should be back soon.

Su Wantang was reading medical books in her space until evening. When she went out for a walk, she ran into Sun Xiulian.

At this moment, Sun Xiulian was carrying a small bucket and wearing red rubber shoes, standing not far away.

Seeing this, Su Wantang chuckled, "Sister-in-law Xiulian, where are you going?"

"I'm going to go beachcombing!" Sun Xiulian said with a smile. "Tang sister, the tide is out right now, it's the perfect time for beachcombing!"

"Beachcombing? That sounds interesting," Su Wantang said with a slight smile.

"Would you like to come with me to go beachcombing?" Sun Xiulian asked. "If we're lucky, we might catch some crabs and seafood! That would be a nice improvement on our meals!"

“Okay, then I’ll go with you!” Su Wantang’s dark, soft almond-shaped eyes sparkled. “But I have to go home first to get a bucket and rubber shoes.”

Fortunately, she had stocked up on some goods in her storage space when she was hoarding them before.

“Okay, then I’ll be waiting for you.” Sun Xiulian said with a smile.

Su Wantang walked towards her home. There was hardly anyone home at the time, so she used her mind to retrieve the items from her spatial storage.

A pair of rubber shoes, a bucket, and a pair of tweezers.

Su Wantang changed into a floral short-sleeved shirt and jeans. She sat down, took off her socks, put on pink rubber shoes, tucked the jeans into the shoes, put the tweezers in the bucket, and carried the bucket towards the door.

Sun Xiulian's eyes lit up when she saw Su Wantang's outfit.

"Tang, you look so beautiful in this outfit!" Sun Xiulian exclaimed. "You look good in everything!"

Su Wantang chuckled and walked towards the sea with Sun Xiulian.

At this moment, the sea breeze gently caressed my cheeks, carrying a faint salty smell.

Su Wantang and Sun Xiulian walked along the coconut trees by the roadside towards the sea, and the sound of waves crashing against the rocks could be heard not far away.

"Tang sister, look how beautiful the sunset is!" Sun Xiulian said, pointing to the horizon.

Su Wantang looked up and saw that the western sky was dyed a brilliant orange-red, and the warm golden sunset was reflected on the sparkling sea, and the whole world was coated with a gentle glow.

"It's so beautiful," Su Wantang couldn't help but exclaim. "You can't see this kind of scenery in the city."

The two arrived at the beach, where the tide was out, revealing a large expanse of mudflats. Countless small holes were left in the soft sand, with various seashells and seaweed scattered among them.

“Look, there might be good stuff in these little holes.” Sun Xiulian skillfully squatted down and gently dug a small hole with her hand. “Sometimes you can dig up clams, sometimes small crabs.”

Su Wantang followed suit and squatted down to dig as well. She was a little clumsy at first, but quickly mastered the technique. Before long, she dug up several plump clams.

"Oh my, Tang, you're so lucky!" Sun Xiulian looked at Su Wantang's harvest with envy. "I dug for ages before I found two small ones."
