"I've got it!" DouDou said in her childish voice, her big, dark eyes clear and bright.
Just then, footsteps sounded from not far away, and the old military doctor hurriedly arrived carrying his medical kit.
"How is the child?" The old military doctor ran over breathlessly, and when he saw that Dou Dou had regained consciousness, he immediately breathed a sigh of relief.
He crouched down to carefully check Dou Dou's condition, listened to her heartbeat, and only after confirming that the child was out of danger did he look up at Su Wantang.
"Is it you who saved the child?" The old military doctor's eyes were full of respect.
Su Wantang nodded.

On the way back, as Lu Linchuan listened to the women in the Luoshu compound vividly recounting how dangerous the incident had been and how brave Su Wantang had been when she rescued people, his heart instantly leaped into his throat.
