The two locked eyes.
"Are you alright?" The man looked at her with concern, gazing intently at her.
Su Wantang shook her head. "I slipped a little, but I'm fine now."
"It's good that you're alright," the man said, his gaze inadvertently drifting down to her smooth, white skin below her collarbone.
Time seemed to stand still at that moment.
The only sounds in the air were their alternating breaths and their rapid heartbeats.
Su Wantang felt the man's rough fingertips embedded in her waist, the heat almost burning through her skin.
And she was completely naked at that moment.
Lu Linchuan's body stiffened like a stone. He suddenly closed his eyes, his Adam's apple bobbed violently, and his deep eyes became dark and gloomy.
"You...you let me go," Su Wantang's face was so red it was almost bleeding. "I'm changing my clothes."
"Okay." His voice was even hoarser than before as he slowly released Su Wantang.
"You...you close your eyes!" the woman said softly.
"Okay." Lu Linchuan's prominent Adam's apple bobbed with difficulty. He turned around, his back to Su Wantang, and closed his eyes.
But what appeared in his mind was the woman's fair and supple skin, the beautiful scenery of her snow-capped peaks, her slender waist that was no bigger than the palm of his hand, and her extremely sexy waist-to-hip ratio...
His mind was filled with memories of their first time together...
That night was deeply imprinted in his mind and lingered there for a long time.
Su Wantang blushed and took the nightgown from the man's arm.
The nightgown was folded neatly, just like a small square scarf.
Underneath the nightgown were light pink underwear and matching panties.
Upon seeing the underwear, Su Wantang's face turned even redder.
She blushed and slowly put on her clothes.
"Okay," Su Wantang said softly.
The man slowly opened his eyes, turned around, and without saying a word, picked her up and carried her out of the bathroom, gently placing her on the sofa in the living room.
Su Wantang had just finished showering, her fair face flushed with a light pink hue, like a ripe peach.
Her jet-black hair was wet and draped over her shoulders. She was holding a towel, wrapping it around her hair, and gently wiping it.
"I'll blow-dry it for you." With that, the man got up, took out the hairdryer, and plugged it into a socket next to the sofa.
The man turned on the hair dryer—
"Buzz buzz buzz—"
The warm air from the hairdryer caressed her hair, and the man's slender fingers moved clumsily yet exceptionally gently through her wet hair.
After drying her hair until it was half dry, he squeezed some flower oil into his palm, rubbed it to warm it, and carefully applied it to the ends of her hair.
Throughout the entire process, the two did not exchange a single word, yet an ambiguous atmosphere grew wildly in the air, tugging at each other's nerves.
Su Wantang's heart was pounding faster and faster.
She really enjoyed being taken care of by Lu Linchuan.
Soon her wet hair was dried, and the hairdryer stopped working.
The man bent down, picked up a stray hair that had fallen to the ground, and put it in the trash can.
Su Wantang blushed as she looked at Lu Linchuan in front of her.
He looks like a cold and tough guy, but I never expected him to have such a gentle and family-oriented side.
He treated her like a little girl.
This feels good.
