Chapter 95 He's Too Strong (2/2)

"Ugh... Ah!!" Wang Wu rolled on the ground in pain, his clothes instantly soaked with cold sweat. He roared in a hoarse voice, "Who the hell are you? Do you know who I work for?"

Lu Linchuan increased the pressure on his feet.

“哢”.

Another faint cracking sound.

Wang Wu's cursing stopped abruptly, leaving only the sound of gasps for breath.

Lu Linchuan then spoke slowly and deliberately, his voice devoid of warmth: "It's so noisy."

Upon seeing this, Li Xiumei was terrified and screamed as she tried to run away.

But as soon as she turned around, she bumped into a solid chest.

She looked up in terror, and when she saw the person's face, all color drained from her face, and her pupils constricted sharply.

At the entrance, Qin Tian stood backlit, his expression one of chilling indifference she had never seen before.

"You...you...how did you get here?!" Li Xiumei's lips trembled, unable to utter a single word.

Shouldn't he be sleeping like a log at home? What's he doing here?!

Qin Tian walked into the house step by step, each step feeling like he was stepping on Li Xiumei's heart.

He walked up to her, looking down at the woman he had shared a bed with for many years, his voice devoid of any warmth.

"Li Xiumei, after acting for so many years, aren't you tired?"

"tired……?"

Li Xiumei seemed to have heard the biggest joke in the world, or as if all her strength had been drained. She leaned against the door frame, her body slowly sliding down, and the corners of her mouth were tugged into a smile that was even uglier than crying.

"You...you knew all along?" Her voice was dry, as if it had been sanded.

With bloodshot eyes, Qin Tian stepped forward, grabbed her collar, and lifted her off the ground. His strength was terrifying; his knuckles turned white from the force.

"Know? What the hell should I know?!" He practically roared, spitting all over Li Xiumei's face. "Should I know that my wife is a whore who works for those traitors?! Huh?!"

Years of tenderness and forbearance turned into sharp blades at this moment, cutting him until he bled profusely.

Li Xiumei trembled at his shout, her eyes darting away, her lips pressed tightly together, refusing to utter a single word.

"You won't talk? Fine, very well!" Qin Tian laughed angrily, releasing his grip and shoving Li Xiumei to the ground. "Let's see if you'll talk when we get to the police station!"

Upon hearing the words "police station," Li Xiumei reacted as if a cat had its tail stepped on; she pounced on Qin Tian, grabbed his leg, and burst into tears.

"No! Qin Tian, please don't take me to the police station! I beg you!" She cried her heart out, her face covered in snot and tears. "Please, for Xiao Feng's sake, spare me this time! My son can't live without his mother!"

"Xiao Feng?"

As Qin Tian repeated the name, the rage on his face suddenly froze, replaced by a silent, heart-wrenching sorrow.

He slowly lowered his head, looking at the woman at his feet who was weeping bitterly.

The next second.

"Smack!"

A resounding slap landed hard on Li Xiumei's face!

The whole room fell silent, except for Wang Wu's suppressed groans in the corner.

Li Xiumei was knocked to the side by the blow, and half of her cheek swelled up visibly. She covered her face and looked at Qin Tian in disbelief.

"You...you still have the nerve to mention your son?" Qin Tian's voice was hoarse beyond recognition, each word sounding like blood squeezed from his throat. "Li Xiumei, do you think I'm really a fool? Xiao Feng...he's not my child at all!" (This chapter has been read. Please click to continue reading the next chapter!)
