Chapter 121 Yu Yin is surrounded by children

When Yin woke up, it was already the next morning!

She looked up at Lu Shurui sleeping on the opposite bed; even in his sleep, his hands were in a protective position. The two babies, wrapped in blankets, were also sleeping soundly, the sunlight shining on their faces, as if they were plated with gold.

"Yinyin is awake. How are you feeling? Is there anything else that's bothering you?" Lu Shurui seemed to sense that Yinyin had woken up, so he opened his eyes and looked over. She was indeed awake.

"I feel fine and slept well, so I don't need to worry this time."

Looking at the unshaven Lu Shurui, Yu Yin thought, "He doesn't look like a scholar at all; he looks like a wild, untamed man."

But I was actually quite happy. I must have been very anxious, and I didn't sleep much last night.

The two little ones slept so well, thanks in no small part to Comrade Lu Shurui.

I remember the first time I changed Ping An An's poop ring, Shu Rui looked disgusted and ended up running out to vomit.

Time is a wonderful thing; it changes us and it changes others!

The room was bathed in sunlight, making it warm and cozy!

After eating breakfast, Yu Yin fed the two little ones. Her body was noticeably different; her milk supply came in after just one night and was plentiful.

Yu Yin and Lu Shurui looked at the two little ones lying side by side on the bed. The older brother, who came out first, weighed 4.1 jin and 1 liang, while the younger sister, who came out later, weighed 5.3 jin and 1 jin, a full 1.2 jin heavier.

Fortunately, the doctor checked them and both little ones are healthy. The older brother is a little underweight but has no health problems, while the younger sister is chubby but still lazy and doesn't like to move around much.

"We need to give the two little ones nicknames. We can't just keep calling them brother and sister. Once Pingping and An'an come, it'll be all mixed up!" Yu Yin said to Lu Shurui while thinking about what nicknames to give the two little ones.

Lu Shurui was also thinking about what nickname to choose; he really wasn't good at it. He'd let his grandfather choose the formal name, and Yinyin could choose the nickname.

"Yinyin, you can choose her nickname. Write a letter to Grandpa and he can help you choose her formal name." Lu Shurui said to Yinyin while changing the two little ones' diapers. "She's so straightforward! She peed right after eating, and the smell was quite strong!"

“Okay, hurry up and write to Grandpa to let him know, so he won’t worry. Also, ask Grandpa to choose the name. When Grandpa chooses a name, he will take into account their birth date and time, the five elements and so on. We don’t understand this, so let’s leave it to him!” Yu Yin really liked the name that Grandpa Lu chose. It was a name that sounded peaceful and safe, and it was both auspicious and meaningful.

“Okay, I’ll wash the diapers, hang them up to dry, and then I’ll go write a letter to Grandpa and Grandma,” Lu Shurui said, taking the used diapers to wash.

Yu Yin lay in bed, thinking about what nicknames to give her two little babies. Tuan Tuan Yuan Yuan, Huan Huan Xi Xi... neither seemed quite right.

Thinking that her brother was impatient and was born first, while her sister was slower and was born later.

The older brother will be named Kuai Kuai (Quick), and the younger sister will be named Man Man (Slow).

Yu Yin thought that, regardless of whether her child's personality was fast or slow, she hoped that her child could live a peaceful and happy life according to his own pace and preferences!

"Mom, we're here! Where are my little brother and sister?" An'an rushed in like a little calf, calling for her mother and asking for her little brother and sister as soon as she entered the door.

Chenchen followed behind, Yangyang and Pingping walked behind, and Yixian came in last.

"Yu Yin, how are you? Are you alright? You opened your eyes safely and came here right away." Su Yixian said, placing the chicken soup she was carrying on the table beside the bed.

"Thank you for your hard work, Sister Yixian. Are you safe and sound and haven't been naughty?"

Yu Yin was glad she had a good neighbor; otherwise, she wouldn't know where she would have put Ping An An yesterday.

"Why are you being so polite with me? We live so close by. You helped me a lot when I gave birth to my third child. We're just helping each other out, so why be so formal?" Su Yixian thought to herself that since they came to Yunnan Province, Yu Yin and her family had helped her family much more.

"Mom, have you named your little brother and sister yet?" An'an gently touched her little hand, unable to tell whether it was a brother or a sister.

"The younger brother is called Kuai Kuai, and the younger sister is called Man Man. Their formal names will be decided by Great-Grandpa." Yu Yin looked at the two older children, then glanced at the two younger ones. It was unbelievable that she was actually a mother of four.

"Just like my full name is Lu Xiangwan, and my nickname is An'an?" An'an reacted quickly and analyzed the situation clearly.

"Yes, An'an is absolutely right." An'an was pleased with the praise and turned to look at her younger siblings.

Looking at the quick-witted An'an and the chubby Manman lying on the bed, Su Yixian was truly envious! She might not be destined to have a daughter; she had given birth to three, but not a single one.

After playing for a while, Sister Yixian took all the children home. Yu Yin will stay one more night and can be discharged and go home tomorrow after her check-up.

"They've all gone back. Are they safe and sound or not?" Lu Shurui pushed the door open and came in.

"They went back home without causing any trouble. Both children are very sensible and understanding." Thinking of Pingping carefully holding her younger brother's hand and An'an, who was always full of enthusiasm, Yu Yin felt that she should thank God for giving her such wonderful children in her life!

"The letter has been sent. I sent it by registered mail so that Grandpa could know as soon as possible." Grandpa will be very happy to be a father of four children.

"Waaah...waaah..." She cried loudly!

Lu Shurui rushed over and saw that he had both soiled himself and urinated!

She skillfully changed her son's diaper and washed his bottom.

"Waaah..." The sobbing was so faint that it was barely audible unless you listened carefully, and it was just one or two sobs.

"Come on, let Daddy see if Manman peed too. Oh dear, she really peed and pooped too." Lu Shurui said as he quickly changed his daughter's diaper.

"Yinyin, don't worry. Manman is just too lazy to exert herself. She knows she's uncomfortable after peeing or pooping, but she just doesn't want to cry loudly." Looking at Yu Yin's worried face, Lu Shurui told her what he had observed.

"That's good, that's good. I was always afraid that I would pass on bad traits to my child." Relieved, Yu Yinxin felt at ease.

The next day, the doctor examined Yu Yin and her child, and everything was fine; they could be discharged and go home.

Wang Wenye and the others came over together to help Lu Shurui push the stroller, carry the child, and take her home.

Lying on her own bed, Yu Yin stretched comfortably. It's so good to be home.

Kuai Kuai and Man Man lay down in their older siblings' old beds. The change of location didn't seem to bother them; they ate and slept as usual. Man Man, in particular, was incredibly lethargic. When not hungry, he would just sleep, not moving an inch.

Kuai Kuai is not good. Although he is only three days old, he has a loud voice and is very restless. He is the complete opposite of Man Man.

That's the joy of raising children—you never know what will happen next or which direction they'll take!
