"Shurui, Mengyao is just worried about you. She's afraid you'll be trapped by those few people for the rest of your life and won't be able to go back to the city. Don't you want to go back to the city? Do you want to stay in this poor, remote place for the rest of your life?"
Yu Yin had never met these two women before, but she assumed they were from the same hometown as Lu Shurui, and one of them was even her admirer.
“I will make my own decisions. No matter what the reason, Yu Yin and I are married and have children. They are my responsibility. I will not abandon them. Even if I have to go back to the city, I will take them with me.”

In a moment of desperation, Wang Mengyao revealed a secret that no one wanted to talk about.
Upon hearing this, Yu Yin finally understood that the accident that caused the original owner's pregnancy was her doing, which cost the original owner her life, and yet she was still spouting nonsense, asking for a beating.
Yu Yin pushed open the door and entered the courtyard. Standing next to Lu Shurui were two women. One of them looked somewhat like him and was probably his cousin from his uncle's family. The other was the culprit.
"You're back. I'm so tired..."
"Slap, slap."
Before Lu Shurui could finish speaking, Yu Yin had already walked up to Wang Mengyao and slapped her twice.
The courtyard fell silent instantly. The three people were stunned and didn't react for a long time.
"Ah...you dare hit me? Who do you think you are? You hit me, you shameless country bumpkin, ah..."
On the other hand, Wang Mengyao screamed like a screaming chicken, "Ah, ah!" endlessly.

After making those harsh remarks, Yu Yin quickly ran upstairs, where she heard her child crying.
Downstairs, the two women were starting to question their existence. They hadn't been able to get them to divorce, and had even been slapped; they were incredibly frustrated.
"Brother Shurui..."
"Shurui..."
"I've said everything I needed to say. For the sake of both families, I didn't tell my family about you drugging me. Don't come here again, otherwise, I can't guarantee what might happen next."
Wang Mengyao was heartbroken, as if her whole family had died, and she cried incessantly.
Cousin Lu Shuxin had come to complain to her younger cousin about how tough life was, how bad the food was, and how she was on the verge of giving up. Before she could even open her mouth, that woman berated her mercilessly. How could she possibly continue?
"Alright, you two go do what you need to do. I have a lot of things to do."
Lu Shurui pushed the two stunned people out of the courtyard gate, then turned around, closed the door, and went inside.
The two women who were pushed out couldn't believe that Lu Shurui would do such a thing. Was this still the polite and gentle Lu Shurui they knew?
Wang Mengyao ran away crying, and Lu Shuxin couldn't care less about anything else. She quickly chased after her. At this stage, Wang Mengyao was the only person who could give her some benefits, and she couldn't cut off this path.
Upstairs, I changed the baby's diaper, fed him, burped him, and then carried them both downstairs.
"They've all left?"
I put the two little ones in the stroller and let them play by themselves for a while. We haven't unpacked the things we brought back yet; some of them are still in the storage space.

In one breath, Lu Shurui explained the whole story. He looked at Yu Yin with some unease. He didn't understand why he was uneasy; he just felt very anxious.
