Zhao Tong ran to Yu Yin's door, took a deep breath, and then knocked.
"Zhao Tong, what brings you here so early in the morning?"
Lu Shurui came to open the door and saw Zhao Tong from the store. He asked in surprise.
"Brother-in-law, the shop was burgled yesterday, but Brother Liang and Chang Qing managed to fend off the thief, and everything is fine. Brother Liang went to the police station to give a statement, and Brother Chang asked me to come and tell Sister Yu Yin to go to the shop and check on things."
"Okay, I understand. You go back to the shop first. Changqing can't handle everything by herself. Your sister Yu Yin and I will be right there."
Zhao Tong turned and went back to the shop, and Lu Shurui also went back to the room and told Yu Yin about what happened at the shop.
“Yu Kang, don’t go to the store today. Stay home and look after the children. Your brother-in-law and I will go to the store.”
Yu Kang had heard some of it and roughly knew what had happened. Knowing the importance and urgency of the matter, he stayed home to look after his nephews and nieces, letting his sister and brother-in-law go about their business without worry.
Yu Yin and Lu Shurui hurriedly went into the shop without having breakfast. They asked Yu Kang to take the children out to get some breakfast, or to cook at home.
Upon arriving at the shop, Yu Yin asked Chang Qing what had happened and learned that yesterday had been quite dangerous. If it hadn't been for Brother Liang and Chang Qing, it wouldn't have been so easy to resolve if it had been Zhao Tong or He Dong.
"Shurui, could you help tidy up the shop and fix the broken lock? I'm going to the police station."
"Okay, go ahead, we'll take care of things at the shop."
Lu Shurui knew there wasn't much he could do to help at the police station, so he figured he'd be better off helping Yu Yin stabilize things at home. Customers would be arriving soon, and they couldn't afford to disrupt their daily business.
Putting aside how things are at the shop, everyone is gradually arriving, and customers are about to come in. There's no time to discuss last night's events; work is the priority.
Then Yu Yin rode her bicycle to the Public Security Bureau, found the person in charge of the case, and met with Liang Chao first.
"Brother Liang, how are you? Are you hurt?"
"It's nothing, I'm not hurt. Those guys didn't get close to me or Chang Qing."
"That's good, that's good. Personal safety is always the most important thing."
The two discussed this matter briefly, noting that there are too many idle people in society now, and their shop is too obvious a target. Even if they drive away this group, another group might come at any time.
Seven boys came yesterday, one ran away halfway, and the remaining six were all caught.

"Two more people should stay in the shop tonight; it's too dangerous." Lu Shurui felt it wasn't safe with only two people in the shop. They have three shops, and after the New Year they'll be selling Northeastern specialties; they really don't have enough manpower.
Yu Yin put Liang Chao in charge of this matter.
Captain Qiao was very efficient; within two days, he notified them that suitable personnel had arrived. One of them had a leg injury and was slightly lame, but it didn't hinder his work, and he was quite skilled.
Yu Yin knew that if it weren't for certain issues, Captain Qiao wouldn't have introduced these people to her. However, although the people Captain Qiao introduced had some flaws, they were all very capable, and Yu Yin still welcomed them. After all, they had contributed a lot to the country and deserved respect.
One of the two men had a limp due to a leg injury, while the other had a deep scar on his face and looked fierce.
The man with a slight limp is named Wu Dali, 23 years old, unmarried, from Northeast China. He left his hometown for Shanghai for reasons unknown. The other man with a scar on his face is named Liu Hang, 30 years old, from Sichuan Province. His wife and child have also come to Shanghai, and they live in a rented apartment.
Based on their introductions, Yu Yin sensed that they had their own stories. Since they hadn't shared them, Yu Yin didn't want to pry. It was their private matter, and they had the right to remain silent.
After handing the people over to Liang Chao, Yu Yin went to attend to other matters. Ultimately, these people were still under Liang Chao's management, so she just needed to let him worry about them.
They all came from the military and had similar experiences, making communication easier. Liang Chao assigned them jobs and believed they would do well; after all, soldiers are never afraid of difficulties and will forge ahead once they set a goal.
The day before the Lunar New Year, all the gift boxes were sold out; they sold exceptionally well.
