The next day, Aunt Hu prepared a sumptuous breakfast. Brother Yu was going to register for the exchange meeting, and Yu Kang accompanied him. Afterwards, they went to visit the shipyard where Lu Shurui was interning.
After seeing off Brother Yu and his companion, Yu Yin hurried off to work, as she was about to be late.
Brother Yu and Yu Kang arrived smoothly at the address provided by the organizer and registered. The exchange meeting will begin tomorrow.
The two went to the shipyard, registered with the security guard, and waited for Lu Shurui to come out.
"Brother, Yu Kang, when did you arrive?"
When Lu Shurui heard the gatekeeper announce that someone was looking for him, he went out and was surprised to find it was his brother-in-law.
"I arrived yesterday to attend an academic exchange meeting, and afterwards I will visit your shipyard."

His schedule was packed for the next few days, and Brother Yu said he would come back before going back.
Yu Yin didn't know anything about the exchange meeting. She had bought some local specialties and clothes for the children in the past two days. She had learned about the height and weight of the three children from her correspondence with her sister-in-law. Yu Yin chose the currently popular puffer jackets, which were quite warm.
A few days later, Brother Yu returned with Lu Shurui.
"Is the exchange meeting over?"

Yu Yin and Lu Shurui exchanged a few words about the exchange meeting. Lu Shurui then took Yu's older brother to the study. Both of them were avid readers. Compared to not knowing what to say to Yu Yin, Yu's older brother preferred to talk to Lu Shurui about work.
After dinner, Brother Yu said, "Yu Yin, I'm going back tomorrow. The factory is waiting for me to come back and report. Seeing how happy you are now, we're relieved. After Dad retires next year, he'll have time to travel around and visit you."
"In such a hurry, aren't you going to look around a bit? It's not easy to come here, who knows when you'll be able to come again!"
"I'm not going to shop anymore. I went to some places with Yu Kang the other day. I might have more opportunities to come here in the future, as our factory will be cooperating with factories here."
After finishing their business, and seeing that it was getting late, everyone went back to their rooms to rest.
The next day, after breakfast, Yu Yin and Lu Shurui saw Brother Yu off at the station.
"Brother, these are things I bought for my wife and three children. You can give them to her when you get back. I also bought clothes for Dad. Please send them to him when you have time."
Yu Yin only bought things for her father; as for her mother, she received nothing. And for Yu Qing, that was even less likely.
Brother Yu took the things, but he didn't know what they were, as they were so heavy. After listening for a while, he realized there was nothing from his mother. Brother Yu opened his mouth, but in the end, he didn't say anything.
The train started moving, and Brother Yu's waving arms grew smaller and smaller until they disappeared completely.
"Let's go back. I have to go to work soon, what about you?"
Lu Shurui held Yu Yin's hand, which was a little cold. He wrapped his large hand around her small hand to warm it.
"I have to go to work too. It's the end of the year, and there's a lot to do. I only took a morning off."
Holding hands, the two walked towards the bus stop, intending to go home first and then to work.

Aunt Hu also makes preserved fruit. She used to make preserved fruit from the fruit trees in the yard that she couldn't eat. It tasted even better than the ones sold in department stores. Inspired, Yu Yin called A Xiang and asked them to try making some preserved fruit too.
Yunnan Province has a wide variety of fruits, and there should be quite a few that can be made into dried fruit. Ah Xiang is currently busy contacting Yu Yin and the others about the goods, and is even considering whether to quit her job and do this full-time, since it earns much more than her salary.
In recent years, Ah Xiang has become more decisive. As a military wife, she is used to facing many things independently. Her status as a military wife has also brought her many conveniences and preferential treatments. These two women are eager to make their plans a success, especially regarding the planting industry that Yu Yin had previously planned, which Ah Xiang is currently researching.

I thought about all sorts of random things for a while, then decided to stop. I had to go to work soon. Aunt Hu had finished cooking in the kitchen, and the aroma was wafting out. The sounds of children coming home from school also drifted in.
"Grandma Hu, what did you make? It smells delicious!"
Quickly, with its little nose sniffing like a puppy, it seemed to smell meat.
"Fish-flavored shredded pork, braised pork, sweet and sour pork, and stir-fried greens."
Aunt Hu likes the children; they are very polite and independent. She just wants to watch them grow up.
Aunt Hu brought the dishes to the table, An'an and Pingping set out the bowls and chopsticks, Yu Yin served the rice, and everyone started eating.
Every dish was delicious, especially the meat dishes, which were very popular.
"Sigh, Dad and Uncle are so unlucky, they didn't get to eat such delicious food!"
He quickly ate a bite of sweet and sour pork, regretting that his dad didn't get to eat any. It was so delicious, what a pity.
"It's okay, Grandma Hu will do it again after your dad comes back."
