Yu Yin and her colleagues worked tirelessly for two days and were all quite exhausted.
But once the arrow is released, there's no turning back. No matter how tired you are, you have to persevere. Even though your body is screaming that you don't want to get up, reality is pushing you forward.
"Sister Yu Yin, these are the sales records for the past two days. We've really had a great start!" Zhong Liang handed Yu Yin a piece of paper with the sales records compiled by Wang Qiming.
"Not bad, keep up the good work!" Yu Yin put down the paper and instructed Zhong Liang, "Go to the department store today to discuss the move-in. Also, confirm the number of pigs with Brother Tan. Production will increase soon, and the supply of pigs needs to be timely. When the pig farmers around the farm are buying pigs, have Brother Tan carefully check that they are healthy."
Yu Yin didn't want to accept just any rotten fish or shrimp. If she was going to do it, she had to control the quality well, and there absolutely couldn't be any quality problems.
"By the way, we also need to be careful about the slaughterhouse. We can't let them switch the fakes for the real ones." Yu Yin thought to herself that she would have to build her own slaughterhouse in the future and minimize the risks.
Yu Yin and Zhong Liang had finished their discussion, and He Haifeng also closed his notebook. He had so much to learn; this was different from what he had encountered before.
"Alright, I'm staying at the factory today. Haifeng and Zhongliang, go find my second brother-in-law together."
The factory now has two production lines open, and the output is decent. After accumulating a few more batches, we'll send a batch to the military first.
Yu Yin's mind raced; she still had quite a few things to do today.
Zhong Liang and He Haifeng drove away, and Yu Yin was going to check on how Huang Qiang and his team were finishing the house construction.
"Brother Huang, you guys are pretty fast! It's almost topped out!" Yu Yin didn't expect Huang Qiang and his team to build so quickly. This row of brick houses was rising from the ground in the blink of an eye.
"Yu Yin is here. Zhong Liang said to hurry up, so I hired another construction team. Don't worry, the quality is guaranteed. I'm watching them. We've worked together several times before. They're a team of veterans."
Huang Qiang and Yu Yin have known each other for many years, and he knows that she has strict requirements for quality.
"Thank you for your hard work, Brother Huang. By the way, is your main business building houses or decorating them now?" Yu Yin thought that the golden age of real estate would be coming in a few years. Although she didn't want to get involved in that field, it didn't stop her from gossiping a bit.
"I'm also troubled. Can you help me analyze this?" Huang Qiang has been building and decorating houses for so many years, but it's all been small-scale work. He has made some money though.
"What you're building now are mostly single-story houses. As the city develops, there's a better chance of more apartment buildings being constructed, which will require professional knowledge, something you lack. You can handle interior decoration and plumbing and electrical work, but when it comes to actual decoration, you also lack professional drafting personnel."
To put it bluntly, Huang Qiang and his team are just a group of ordinary people. If they want to expand their business, they need a lot of professional knowledge.
"I know, it's just a tough choice. I have to give up one of these two." Huang Qiang scratched his head, looking a little distressed.
"That depends on your own choice. You don't have to have professional knowledge. You can just work in the construction industry. They contract out the project, and you're just responsible for laying bricks according to the requirements." Yu Yin thought that would be the earliest kind of contractor. She just didn't know if it would be easy to get paid.
After chatting with Huang Qiang for a while, Yu Yin had other things to do, so she went back to her office.
Zhong Liang and He Haifeng arrived at the department store where Cheng Qian worked and met Cheng Qian without any problems.
"Second brother-in-law, it's been a long time!"
“Zhong Liang is here. And who is this?” Cheng Qian and Zhong Liang knew each other.
"This is our new guy, He Haifeng. He wears many hats: factory manager's secretary, driver, and bodyguard." Zhong Liang's words were somewhat joking; they were all acquaintances, so there was no need to be so serious.
"Hello, Comrade He, I'm Cheng Qian. You can call me Second Brother-in-law, just like Zhong Liang." The young man looked quite energetic, clearly a former soldier.
"Hello, brother-in-law, I am He Haifeng."
"Okay, okay, oh dear, Yu Yin bought the car?"
Cheng realized too late that since the driver-bodyguard had taken on the job, the car should be in place too!
"Yeah, it's back, a used Jeep." Zhong Liang replied with a smile, knowing what his brother-in-law meant.
"Let's go out and take a look."
The three of them went outside. "Not bad, it's quite new!"
Cheng Qian walked around the jeep, took the keys from He Haifeng, got in, and drove around before returning.
"Hehe, let's have some fun!"
"It's the same. Sister Yu Yin hasn't even had time to drive the car home yet. Her brother-in-law saw it, and his reaction should be about the same."
Zhong Liang thinks there's nothing wrong with men liking cars; they're all the same.
"Let's go inside and talk business." Cheng Qian had had his fill of fun; it was time to get down to business.
"Second brother-in-law, this is a sausage we produced. Please try it." Zhong Liang took a sausage out of the box and handed it to Cheng Qian.
"Let me try it. I've never eaten this before." With Zhong Liang's guidance, Cheng Qian successfully peeled off the skin, took a bite, and exclaimed, "It's delicious!"
"It tastes good. I bet everyone who's tried it dislikes it, right?" Cheng Qian finished off a sausage in a few bites.
"Sales have been good these past two days; over 90% of people like it," Zhong Liang said with pride.
"Okay, send over a hundred boxes tomorrow. I'll clear out a space for you at the food counter. Let's try selling them for a while and see how it goes." As the manager of the department store, Cheng Qian had this much authority.
"Thank you, brother-in-law. I'll deliver the goods tomorrow morning. By the way, brother-in-law, Sister Yu Yin said that she gives the salesperson a one-cent commission for every sausage sold. If you find someone you're on good terms with, you can make quite a bit of money." This was the reward system that Zhong Liang and the others had agreed upon. If you want a horse to run fast, you have to give it enough fodder, right?
