Wang Mengyao's innocent words could only fool that idiot Lu Shukang; everyone else was perfectly clear-headed, and even Lu's father was frowning.
He had opposed Shu Kang marrying Wang Mengyao back then, when Wang Mengyao insisted on marrying Shu Rui and made a huge scene. Now, not long after, she's turned around and wants to marry Shu Kang. Yu Yin decided to start a fight, so she decided to get things straight once and for all to avoid future troubles.
"Stop trying to sow discord and destroy the bond between mother and son. Your intentions are malicious."
“That’s right, second sister-in-law. Parents are never wrong. You shouldn’t talk back to Mom.”
Wang Mengyao is showing up again, so let's just take her down, she's too annoying.
"Shut up, you morally corrupt person! What are you still babbling about? You have such good upbringing, yet you drugged someone else's husband with such a vile drug, trying to force the issue, not even caring if he already had someone else. Lu Shurui didn't want to talk to you and ran home. Out of consideration for the relationship between the two families, he didn't make a fuss, but instead of being grateful, you maliciously tried to kill him. You think you can clear your name by saving the drowning female educated youth, and we won't know it was you? How black-hearted you are! You keep saying that Lu Shurui and you grew up together and have a special bond, but when you returned to the city through Lu Shurui's younger brother's connections, you tried to harm his own brother. How much of your affection for Lu Shukang is genuine?"
Lu Shurui did not refute Yu Yin's words, which greatly surprised the Lu family members present. When did this happen? How could such a thing have occurred?
