Chapter 135 Lu's Mother Causes Trouble, Yu Yin Loses Her Temper

"Shukang, Mengyao, take the child home." With that, she stormed out.

"I'm not leaving, I haven't finished eating yet!" Before the child could finish speaking, her mother picked her up and ran out.

Lu Shukang, bewildered, carried his youngest son and followed them out. How did they end up arguing?

Mr. Lu apologized to Grandpa and Grandma Lu, then gave Lu Shurui and her sister a reproachful look before gritting his teeth and chasing after them.

"Alright, that's all I have to say. From now on, it's better to live your own lives well than anything else." Grandpa Lu spoke, and the others didn't say anything more.

Yu Yin hugged An'an and said, "It's okay, An'an didn't do anything wrong. Take your older brothers and sisters upstairs to play for a while."

"Okay, Mom, I'll take good care of the guests." An'an turned and called the other children upstairs.

Sister-in-law Lu and Aunt Lu helped Yu Yin clear the dining table; three tables, quite a task.

After everyone left, Yu Yin was so tired that her whole body ached. She vowed never to host dinner parties at home again!

"You've worked hard, and I'm sorry for making you suffer again," Lu Shurui said apologetically as he massaged Yu Yin.

"What does this have to do with you? It's not your fault." Yu Yin wouldn't take her anger out on others; doing so would be the worst thing she could do.

"Neither of us has a mother's bond. Let's keep our distance from each other's mothers from now on. Like you said, when they get old and sick, we won't shirk our responsibilities." We can't just cut ties with our own mothers forever!

"I was worried about my grandparents and wanted to return to this familiar land. I thought my relatives and friends were all here and could lend a hand if anything happened. I didn't consider that you would have to face people and things you didn't like. I'm sorry." He was selfish.

"No need to apologize. Everywhere is unfamiliar to me. Here, as you said, I can find acquaintances if I need anything. If it weren't for my second brother-in-law, we wouldn't have been able to buy a house, register our household, and send our children to school so smoothly. We also need the help of my third uncle and the others."

Yu Yin knew that if she went to another place for the exam, she wouldn't have to face people and things she didn't like, but it would be difficult to find connections if something happened.

Often, it's unrealistic to have the best of both worlds; it's good enough if you can take care of one thing at the right time!
