This is Yu Yin's long-term goal. She is not sure how far she can achieve it, but she believes that one should leave something behind in life.
She didn't want to use the information she knew about future developments to change anything; she didn't have that much ambition or ability. She just wanted her family to live comfortably and, when she was able, to help those around her, especially since there would be a lot of trouble after the educated youth returned to the city.
Yu Yin couldn't stop the wheels of history, but she would lend a helping hand within her capabilities. The key was that it had to be within her capabilities; she wouldn't let helping others affect her own life—that was impossible, and she wasn't the Virgin Mary.
After a jumble of random thoughts, Yu Yin found it amusing; what was she worrying about so unnecessarily? She was just an insignificant person among the masses; it wasn't her place to be concerned about the country and its people.
Stretching, Yu Yin decided to stop thinking about it and go to the storeroom to check if her inventory was damaged and whether it needed to be aired out.
I checked each jar one by one, and also looked at all the dried goods on the shelf. Fortunately, they weren't damp, and everything was fine.
People can't be idle. If they're idle, they're prone to overthinking and causing trouble.
After a busy period, with no time to think about anything else, Yu Yin didn't expect time to pass so quickly, and it was time to make dinner again.
Instead of thinking about things that haven't happened yet, think about what to eat for dinner. Overthinking is pointless; focus on the present.
People with a positive mindset tend to live longer, and Yu Yin believes that good health is of paramount importance in this second life.
Life is so wonderful, the world is so big, I should go out and see it!
