Cloud Continent

Cloud Continent

She watched as countless people appeared, just ordinary passersby.

I hope to leave this world as soon as possible.

It's so painful to have dreams that can't be realized.

Suddenly I saw the spade and slowly picked it up.

A memory resurfaces.

Elementary school classmate: "You still have so many typos in your writing?!"

Miao Xingzhou slowly began to recall how someone as incompetent as himself could possibly succeed.

Will my illness get better on its own?

She was looking at the computer.

The mother began by asking, "Miao Xingzhou, how are you now?"

Miao Xingzhou: "Hmm."

Mom: "Dinner's ready."

Miao Xingzhou: "I don't know how I'm going to survive now."

Mom: "You're the silliest one. You don't even know how to survive. As long as Mom has a bite to eat, you won't go hungry."

She started to smile.

After that, we ate.

Will dreams really come true?

It seems a bit risky.

She knew she would fail, but she still wrote the novel.

Mom said, "Now you should focus on getting better and not think about those things."

Miao Xingzhou: "Mm."

He entered the dream, and the child behind the woman said, "You really don't want to get married?"

Miao Xingzhou: "Sometimes not having children is a form of kindness."

The woman slowly walked in and said, "Are you confused now?"

Miao Xingzhou: "The whole world is saying I can't do it."

Woman: "Even if you can't do it, persistence will always pay off. If you like it, just stick with it, what's wrong with that?"

She heard this and started laughing, "It's truly wonderful to have novels to accompany me throughout my life."

Woman: "Mmm."

But……

Woman: "Live in the moment, don't think too much."

Miao Xingzhou: "How can I live if I don't think about the future!"

Woman: "Isn't it good for you to be alive now?"

Miao Xingzhou: "I don't want to be a burden on my family!"

Woman: "If we can't go on living, we'll just die. What's there to be afraid of?"

Miao Xingzhou slowly began to look at the scarecrows that appeared around him.

Woman: "Run now!"

Miao Xingzhou: "Where can I run to?"

"I've always been slow and weak since I was a child. What's the point of living like this!?"

Woman: "Since that's the case, then let's just live a complete mess."

Living a complete mess?

A group of scarecrows grabbed her, and she slowly began to wake up.

I realized I'm twenty-three years old.

My own novel has never been successful.

It seems unlikely to succeed.

Even if you don't earn a single penny, you should still maintain your passion.

She watched her mother come home, and her mother said, "Life is good now, don't think too much."

Miao Xingzhou: "But..."

Mom: "Don't take what your sister said seriously."

Miao Xingzhou: "I don't want to live like this."

Mom: "You're so great! So many people envy you!"

She gave a wry smile. "People actually envy me?"

Mom: "We'll talk about the future later."

Miao Xingzhou: "Hmm."

She stared at the computer screen, her childhood dream now shattered.

It swept in, carrying a thorn.

Her heart was constantly flowing with cold blood.

Mom asked, "What's bothering you right now?"

Miao Xingzhou: "There's really nothing to be unhappy about."

Mom: "Society is better now. In the past, people with mental illnesses were locked up in their rooms."

Miao Xingzhou: "I know."

Indeed, people should be content with what they have and find happiness in it.

Even if I manage a mental hospital for the rest of my life, even if I die, it doesn't matter.

Yeah, right!

She watched as she struggled to earn money.

Mom said, "It's good that you're doing well and not unhappy right now. There's still plenty of time."

Miao Xingzhou: "Hmm."

She began slowly, saying, "Mom, now I want to pursue my dreams."

Mom didn't argue, but smiled supportively, "It's good that you want to pursue your dreams!"

As Miao Xingzhou read the novel, he thought about how difficult it was for a normal person to write a novel, but for someone with a mental illness like himself, writing a novel was even more difficult. He wondered how he was supposed to live now.

Is it impossible to live now?

She started looking at the computer.

Mom said, "Why did you stop writing?"

Miao Xingzhou: "It's nothing."

Mom: "What are you thinking about?"

Miao Xingzhou: "I'm wondering when I'll be able to support myself."

Mother: "Once you recover, you'll naturally be able to support yourself."

Miao Xingzhou: "I understand."

Mom: "Mmm."

She continued writing novels.

Seeing countless failed attempts to sign contracts was indeed quite disheartening.

Mom said, "If it doesn't work out, it doesn't work out. What's there to be upset about?" "Yeah."

She looked at the spade on the table, slowly touched it, and suddenly a bubble appeared in the air.

She discovered that there was an extremely handsome man sitting next to her.

There were also three adorable children with her.

The man put his arm around her shoulders. "Aren't you going to sleep yet?"

Miao Xingzhou: "I want to go out."

Child: "Mom, if you want to go out, go out with Dad. It's messy outside right now."

Miao Xingzhou stood on the balcony, looking down into the countryside, and saw a person carrying a head and throwing it into a trash can.

She covered her mouth and began to back away; the strong smell of blood could still be detected even from upstairs.

The man slowly walked in and said, "The floor is cold, get up quickly."

The man's sharp, handsome face was etched with a mixture of impatience, hopelessness, and doubt.

Miao Xingzhou started to stand up, and the three children said, "Mom, you're still a coward. Aren't there dead people here? People die here every day."

No, she continued reading.

In the distance, a green mountain stands, which resembles a giant divine tortoise.

One eye was open, the other closed; the open eye looked like a giant obsidian...

The man began, "Miao Xingzhou, on this Cloud and Mist Continent, you are already considered a strong person. Why do you still act like a child?"

Miao Xingzhou: "Cloud and Mist Continent?"

She stood up, then suddenly slammed her head down, and a calligraphy brush fell from her sleeve.

Miao Xingzhou said, "I am not her!"

The man grabbed her hand tightly. "What are you saying now!"

Miao Xingzhou: "I know this must be a dream."

Suddenly, one of the oldest children said, "Mommy, do you want to keep touching the bubbles now?"

Miao Xingzhou: "I..."

The man began to loosen his grip. "You still can't let go. We won't stop you."

She saw the brush automatically draw a circle on the ground, and then a bubble appeared from the circle. Miao Xingzhou started popping it and saw the woman use the brush to continuously attack the huge iron-skinned rhinoceros in front of her.

She watched as the man appeared just as he was about to hit the woman, a protective shield stopping him...

The rhinoceros kept pawing at the ground, and when it could no longer hold on, the two separated.

He twisted and crashed into a tree stump in front of him, breaking hundreds of trees in the process.

He began to slowly watch the snakes flying in the sky.

They started talking.

"Mom and Dad, this iron-skinned rhinoceros is too powerful! Let's run!"

Mom: "I have a way to beat it."

The woman began, "Haoran, attack the folds of its skin!"

They easily dodged the rhinoceros's attack, after which the man, Haoran, began to stab into its most vulnerable, folded skin.

One of its arms was shortened, and then the rhinoceros gradually died.

Miao Xingzhou watched as the rhinoceros's soul began to fly out and then enter the man's weapon.

The woman smiled and said, "Let's go back."

The three children who flew in the sky began to fly down, transforming from flying snakes into ordinary children.

Perhaps they're not just ordinary, because this family of five is all exceptionally good-looking.

Like a two-dimensional creature.

Suddenly, the earth shook violently; it was the divine tortoise moving. Together, they leaped off the mountain.

Miao Xingzhou: "What is your dream?!" She didn't know why she was asking this.

Woman: "Go and realize your dreams!"

She woke up from her dream.

Mom said, "Let's go watch the Spring Festival Gala now."

Miao Xingzhou: "Mom, time flies by so fast these days."

Mom: "Of course, it will be a year if you don't believe it."

Brother: "Time flies, how do you feel?"

Miao Xingzhou: "I feel both happy and scared."

Brother: "Face life bravely."

The sister-in-law nestled in her brother's arms.

They were watching the Spring Festival Gala.

Is this really how my life is going to go on?

The mother began by asking, "Are you feeling unwell now?"

Miao Xingzhou: "My sister still didn't come back for the New Year."

Mom: "She probably doesn't have any money and doesn't want to come back." They went to sleep.

I guess the happiest time is during the Lunar New Year.

She watched the time tick by and slowly grew sleepy.

In her dream, she returned to the field and began to jump down into an endless abyss, where a painful cry rang out, "Enough!" Like a shattered mirror, cracks appeared.

Miao Xingzhou slowly covered his face.

The tears vanished without a trace.

"I really don't want to spend my whole life in a mental hospital! I want to achieve my dreams!"

"What did I do wrong? Why is God so unfair?!"

"None of you come any closer!"

"Mom! Don't leave me!"

"Why am I so cold? It's like I've lost something..."

She slowly heard a voice calling her, and when she woke up, she saw countless paper flying saucers flying above the white clouds.

An old, decrepit voice echoed in my ears.

Kai Kai arrived with a touch of authority.

She opened her eyes, and the man looked at her and said, "Now you want to live the life you desire, right?"

Miao Xingzhou: "Hmm."

The man began, "Aren't you living a happy life now?"

Miao Xingzhou: "My happy life is thanks to my mother working hard outside, suffering from illness, and not being able to support herself even in her twenties!"

The man looked at her and said, "Live in the moment. Death can happen at any time, so why be unhappy?"

Miao Xingzhou: "I...don't know."

The man said, "Now you watch carefully."

A mirror.

She touched it, and when she got up, she found that she had successfully signed a contract. Although it was on a small website, she was still very happy.

Mom came in and asked, "Are you alright now?"

Miao Xingzhou: "Hmm."

Mom: "If you feel good now, that's good. I don't expect you to make money from writing novels. I just hope you can stay healthy."

Miao Xingzhou: "I finally signed the contract!"

My mother was smiling beside me.

Miao Xingzhou began to nervously look at her novel. Although the data wasn't good, she was still very happy.

We have everything we need now.

I am confident that I can achieve it.

I earned one dollar in the first month.

Looking at her, Mom smiled and said, "It's not bad to be able to make money by writing novels."
