The most beautiful time is now.

The most beautiful time is now.

She woke up from her dream.

Mom and Dad went to Grandpa's house and haven't come back yet.

She watched the door; her mother still had to work.

I started writing a novel.

When my parents came home at six o'clock in the evening, they said with a smile, "We bought popsicles, do you want some?"

Miao Xingzhou stood up and then picked up a stick. His mother said, "Take this and put it in the refrigerator to keep it cold."

Miao Xingzhou: "Do you want some popsicles?"

Mom: "I don't want to."

"Where's Dad?"

Dad: "Just give me one. I don't need any more."

Mom looked at Dad with a smile.

Miao Xingzhou held three popsicles in his hand and gave them to his parents.

Mom: "I can eat it whenever I want."

Miao Xingzhou: "You don't eat or like it all by yourself?"

With a mix of anger and amusement, Mom said, "You're forcing me to eat even though I don't want to?"

Miao Xingzhou: "You should also have a mung bean popsicle, your favorite."

The family happily ate popsicles.

Mom suddenly looked at her phone; her aunt was calling, but she didn't answer.

Miao Xingzhou said, "Perhaps it's because my aunt made a call earlier and it's only now appearing."

Dad: "You can tell by looking at the time."

Mom: "You're so smart, it scared me."

It turns out that Mom was worried about Grandpa.

After that, Dad and Mom went out again, leaving me alone in front of the computer.

Mom and Dad came home when she was sleeping, but she was already asleep.

The next day, she started waking her mother up at seven o'clock...

This year is over, and Mom is going back to work.

My sister didn't come home for the Chinese New Year again.

I don't know why.

She looked at the computer screen, feeling quite distressed.

My older sister called and asked, "When is Mom arriving?"

It's truly a case of one person being sad while the other is happy.

"Mom will come to your place this afternoon."

The older sister smiled and said, "Yes, I'm going to see a movie with Mom later."

Miao Xingzhou: "Hmm."

When Miao Xingzhou called his mother later, she answered and said, "I just got home."

Miao Xingzhou: "My sister said she wants to watch a movie with Li."

Mom frowned, remained silent, and then said, "I'm sleepy from the car ride and want to sleep."

Miao Xingzhou: "Hmm."

My sister was a little disappointed.

She continued looking at the computer.

Text kept appearing on the computer screen.

The story continues to be written.

She doesn't believe in love, and she won't get married or date.

It's not that I haven't met people I like, but I'm disliked by everyone except my family.

She confined herself to her little castle at home, staying there day and night.

Spending most of the time with the kitten...

While I was reading, Dad said, "Want to go watch a show?"

Miao Xingzhou: "I don't want to watch the program."

I'm home alone, reading and enjoying my leisure time. The cat in my arms is so soft and squishy.

She saw those people looking at her, and she hated that feeling.

Then they started going inside, and even while entering the house, they kept looking around.

She looked at the computer and just wrote novels, yet she became an outcast in the village!

Even so, I will not give up.

She watched for four hours before going to sleep.

High-tech parents: "Do you understand what you want most?"

Miao Xingzhou: "Cherish the present."

Sister: "Mmm."

Mom: "But no matter how much you cherish it now, it will all pass."

Miao Xingzhou: "Then what should we do?"

Dad: "If I pass away, I'll stay frozen in that moment forever."

She began to be cornered.

Mom, holding a pizza, asked, "Do you want this?"

Dad: "If you eat it, you can stay here forever."

Miao Xingzhou began to feel his body stiffen like a stone.

Just as she was about to die, someone suddenly saved her.

I opened my eyes and my mother said, "It's cold sleeping on the sofa."

"I'll cover you with a blanket."

Miao Xingzhou: "I've had enough sleep."

Mom: "Want to write a novel?"

"Um."

Mom said, "You just need to write novels, write novels."

I wonder if I've chosen the wrong path.

Mom started watching her own videos, and when Dad came home, they each did their own thing.

Miao Xingzhou slowly felt sleepy again and began to slowly go take a shower.

She said, "Mom, why are you back?"

Mom: "Don't you want me to come back?"

Miao Xingzhou: "Didn't you just get back?"

Mom: "I'm waiting for you to support me."

Miao Xingzhou: "I've only been writing decimals for a year or two, and I've only earned one yuan."

Mom: "Mmm."

Afterwards, Miao Xingzhou said, "I can help you support yourself."

When Dad came home, he asked, "Is dinner ready yet?"

Her mother cooked with her.

Dad was playing on his phone when Mom said, "Dinner's ready."

Mom started asking Miao Xingzhou to get a bowl and chopsticks.

During dinner, Dad said, "I'm thinking of selling the berry tea online now."

Mom: "Who would buy your berry tea? You work so hard all year to earn six thousand."

Dad: "The strawberry tea is valuable."

Miao Xingzhou: "It's better than nothing."

Dad: "Hmm."

Suddenly, time passed quietly. In the blink of an eye, she turned thirty, writing novels and earning a thousand yuan a month—barely enough to make ends meet.

My mother scolds my father every day at home, while my older sister and brother are away from home all year round.

I take care of my parents myself.

Mom asked, "Have you eaten?"

Miao Xingzhou: "Is there no more food?"

Mom: "Eat quickly, or the food will get cold and won't taste good."

Miao Xingzhou stood up, rubbed his neck, and went to eat.

Mom: "It's good that you can support yourself now."

Miao Xingzhou: "I guess I was lucky."

Mom: "Ten years have passed, it's time to succeed."

She looked at the dishes and said, "Are we having seaweed today?"

"Hmm." Mom looked at the computer. "If you don't like that, there's also houttuynia cordata."

She ate it and said, "Houttuynia cordata is still the best."

Suddenly, an image flashed through my mind: the mute uncle next door, who used to be an expert at catching snakes, suddenly standing in front of the door at night, calling out.

His mother then discovered that he was stepping on a highly venomous snake, which terrified both his mother and the girl he was as a child.

The mute uncle's family came, but I forgot what happened afterward.

Once, he told his mother that he had seen a snake. His mother asked what it looked like, and Miao Xingzhou said, "Dark brown."

My mother started jumping into the overgrown area to catch the snake, which really scared her.

Looking at my mother, she's already so old.

Miao Xingzhou has slowed down his eating pace; time seems to be passing faster and faster now.

Parents will leave me sooner or later; I can't even imagine it.

She started to feel some pain.

After she finished eating, she took out three hundred yuan and said, "This is my living expenses for this month."

Mom: "Why are you giving me living expenses? I have money, what use is yours to me?"

Dad came out and said, "You can use it yourself."

She looked at the money and said, "Then let's keep it to buy groceries."

While at the market, she started buying groceries. After spending sixty or seventy yuan, she returned home. Her mother and father looked at her, and Miao Xingzhou said, "I bought mangoes and dates."

Mom started eating mangoes, and Dad started eating dates.

She looked at it and suddenly laughed.

Mom: "Dinner is ready."

Miao Xingzhou began to eat.

Mom: "Now you're really taking care of us."

Miao Xingzhou: "Hmm."

Dad: "My brother was about to give me money again."

Mom: "Did you pick it up?"

Dad smiled without saying anything, but he clearly accepted it.

Mom smiled and said, "Don't take the money to gamble."

After finishing his writing, Miao Xingzhou started making dinner at four o'clock.

Mom and Dad went home.

Miao Xingzhou said, "You guys wait and eat stir-fried mushrooms with meat."

Mom: "I'll do it."

Miao Xingzhou: "Did you win the card game?"

Mom: "I lost tens of yuan."

Mom started chopping firewood.

Dad sat there looking at his phone.

Miao Xingzhou: "Mom, what do you want to buy now? It's the change of seasons, right? I'll buy you some clothes."

Mom: "I have clothes, you don't need to buy them."

Mom: "Dad has a pension and doesn't need yours."

Suddenly my sister called.

Sister: "Mom, I bought clothes for you and Dad. Remember to accept them."

Mom: "We already have clothes, what's the point of buying more?! It's a waste of money!"

Dad glanced at it with a smile.

Sister: "Miao Xingzhou, what would you like to eat?"

Miao Xingzhou: "I don't want to eat. I have money. You work so hard, you should save some money."

Then I started watching time gradually pass.

She said, "Before I knew it, I was already in my forties."

I earn a maximum of three thousand a month, and a minimum of six hundred.

I have 60,000 in savings.

My mother is eighty years old and seems to be quite sleepy.

Dad is still playing on his phone.

The mother suddenly woke up and said, "Miao Xingzhou, are you still writing a novel?"

Miao Xingzhou: "Hmm. Mom, you're awake."

Mom got off the sofa and then moved the bedding over.

"I don't know what's so appealing about writing novels. You enjoy it so much, and you're already forty and still writing."

Miao Xingzhou: "This is my job."

Mom began by saying, "I need to go to the toilet."

Miao Xingzhou helped his mother to the toilet.

Mom said, "I'm too old to be of any use."

Miao Xingzhou: "When you get old, no one is of any use to you."

The mother began, "Bring me my cane..."

Time flies like flowers, life is like a dream.

She looked at herself alone in the room, her hair turning white.

My older sister came in and said, "Are you still crying?"

Sister: "Mom and Dad are both ninety years old. You have to think positively. Why don't you live with me from now on?"

My brother and sister both had red eyes.

In the final moments of her life, the book she was holding fell to the ground.

She gradually stopped breathing.

Why does this dream feel so real?

"This is your life in a parallel world. Do you want to continue?"

Miao Xingzhou: "What does life in a parallel world have to do with me?"

"You spend most of your time on work, and although your parents are around, you gradually neglect them."

Miao Xingzhou: "If I don't earn money, how will I support my parents and myself?"

"Don't you understand yet?"

I woke up from a dream and realized I was only in my early twenties.

Her mother looked at her and said, "Come down and eat now."

My sister said, "Why are you up so late?"

Miao Xingzhou: "Hmm."

Brother: "Are you too excited to sleep because of the New Year?"

Miao Xingzhou smiled and said, "You could say that."

They all laughed and gathered around the pot to eat.

Sister: "Do you still want to write novels?"

Miao Xingzhou: "Hmm."

Brother: "You could write novels too."

"Um."

Dad and Mom were the only ones frowning.
