Chapter 182 You killed my grandmother!

Shen Yuan's dark pupils exuded an unnamed pressure, causing Shen Yunjin to catch her breath and subconsciously take two steps back.

Shen Yuan quickly stepped forward to support the other half of Madam Shen's body and took her pulse.

This pulse... is rapid and forceful, as if it were about to burst its banks.

Shen Yuan looked up at Madam Shen's face and saw that although she was unconscious, her chest was still heaving violently and her breathing was disordered.

Shen Yuan frowned, and had Shen Wei clear a space so she could lay the old lady flat on the ground. Then she took out her needle pouch from her bosom, intending to use silver needles to stimulate the heart and lungs, forcing out the stagnant energy in the old lady's chest.

At this moment, Shen Yunjin finally reacted and rushed forward, glaring angrily at Shen Yuan: "The ground is so cold, how could you leave my grandmother on the ground? Let go of my grandmother, she is my grandmother!"

As Shen Yunjin spoke, she rushed in front of Shen Yuan, trying to snatch Old Madam Shen back from her.

But as soon as she got close to Shen Yuan, a thin, long silver needle, about the length of a finger, was inserted vertically into the root of her nose from between her eyebrows.

Upon seeing such a long needle, Shen Yunjin's eyes instantly crossed in fright. Pointing to the silver needle stuck between her eyebrows, she stammered, "You...you you you..."

Shen Yuan had no time to pay attention to Shen Yunjin, nor was she in the mood to fight with her like a three-year-old child over her mother's milk or to compete for Old Madam Shen's affections. So she gave Shen Yunjin a warning look: "Don't move! Otherwise, if the silver needles are misaligned, your face will become paralyzed!"

"What? You...you bitch!"

Shen Yunjin was about to get angry, but Shen Wei stopped her.

"She's your sister, how dare you speak to her like that?" After reprimanding her, Shen Wei turned to look at Madam Jiang: "Is this the good daughter you raised?"

Jiang's expression changed. In the seventeen years she had been in the General's Mansion, this was the first time Shen Wei had ever been so angry with her.

Just because of a wild girl of unknown origin?

Jiang's eyes instantly reddened. She grabbed Shen Yunjin's hand and pleaded, "Jin'er, you...you listen to your father and stand here without moving."

Shen Yunjin pouted in grievance, wary of the silver needle between her eyebrows. She dared not move and could only glare at Shen Yuan with resentment and unwillingness.

Shen Yuan ignored it.

She took out silver needles and inserted them one by one along the left side of Madam Shen's ribs, about three inches away. Then she turned Madam Shen's body to the right and inserted silver needles into two acupoints on her back.

Madam Shen suddenly coughed, and then vomited blood again.

Upon seeing this scene, everyone in the ancestral hall gasped in shock.

"Grandma!" Song Qingshu was terrified by the blood on the ground. He pointed at Shen Yuan and roared, "You've killed my grandma! You vicious, wicked woman! You harmed my sister and now you've harmed my grandma! I'll fight you to the death!"

Song Qingshu clenched his fists angrily and charged toward Shen Yuan.

Just as his fist was about to hit Shen Yuan's face, Xiao Ling raised his hand to block, and an invisible stream of air surged out, causing Song Qingshu to stagger back several steps.

If Song Changshu hadn't caught Song Qingshu quickly, Song Qingshu would have fallen out of the ancestral hall.

Jiang quickly stood in front of her two sons, not daring to let them cause any more trouble.

She turned her head to look at Shen Yuan, who was kneeling on the ground performing acupuncture on Old Madam Shen. The corners of her lips curled up slightly. Well, let this wild girl show off if she wants to!

That would be perfect; if they managed to kill Old Madam Shen, she could forget about ever setting foot in the General's Mansion again!

After vomiting blood, Madam Shen fainted again.

Seeing this, Shen Wei also lost some confidence. He looked at Shen Yuan, his expression tense. It wasn't that he didn't trust Shen Yuan, but the crime of causing the death of Old Madam Shen was too heavy for her, a mere child, to bear!

So Shen Wei stepped forward, wanting to persuade Shen Yuan, "A Yuan, I know you care about your grandmother, but you are not a doctor after all. Let's wait for the family physician to come and treat the sick!"

"That depends on whether Old Madam Shen is alive to wait."

Shen Yuan removed the last silver needle, lifted her skirt and stood up. She glanced at Shen Wei with a calm and indifferent look, yet her eyes exuded a strange sense of reassurance.

The words Shen Wei was about to say caught in his throat. Why would he doubt his own daughter?

She even risked her life to save people!

As a father, wouldn't he dare to take a gamble?

"Young Miss, you have quite the nerve! Anyone who didn't know better would think your medical skills were even better than the family physician's!"

"But the old lady is now unconscious, her face is pale, and she's barely breathing. She looks even worse than before!"

Suddenly, Shen Yunjin's personal maid, Taohua, spoke up, indignant on behalf of her young mistress: "Young Miss, you're so eager to show off as soon as you return to the manor, even at the cost of hurting Miss Yunjin and the Old Madam. Aren't you afraid that you'll end up harming people instead of saving them, and delaying the Old Madam's treatment?"

Hearing Tao Hua's words, Shen Yun Jin raised her lips smugly.

But as soon as she raised the corners of her mouth, the muscles in her face aggravated the silver needle inserted between her eyebrows, causing her to gasp in pain and no longer daring to make any expression.

Shen Yuan tilted her head slightly and glanced at Tao Hua: "Is this the rule of the General's Mansion? Can servants interrupt when their master is speaking?"

With just one sentence, he left Peach Blossom speechless.

Peach Blossom pursed her lips and muttered resentfully, "We don't even know if she's the eldest daughter of the General's Mansion yet, but she's already acting like a master."

Tao Hua's voice was very soft, but Shen Yuan could still hear it clearly.

She chuckled lightly: "What are you saying? I can't hear you. Come here and say it again in a louder voice! Tell me how I acted like a master!"

Peach Blossom's expression suddenly froze. She awkwardly tugged at the corners of her mouth, not daring to say what she had just said.

Just then, the family physician rushed to the ancestral hall with his medicine box on his back.

Everyone breathed a sigh of relief when the physician arrived.

Jiang rushed to Madam Shen's side, her voice filled with anxiety: "Doctor, please come and see my mother-in-law! She's vomiting blood nonstop and is unconscious!"

The physician put down his medicine box, knelt on the ground, reached out to check Madam Shen's breathing, and then felt her pulse.

Seeing that the physician had arrived, Shen Yuan thought there was nothing more for her to do here, so she decided to leave first. But as soon as she turned around, she met Shen Yunjin's resentful eyes.

Their eyes met, and Shen Yuan raised an eyebrow. Oh, she almost forgot, she still had a silver needle left to put away!

With a wave of her small hand, Shen Yuan effortlessly pulled out the silver needle that was stuck vertically into Shen Yunjin's nose.

As soon as the silver needle was withdrawn, Shen Yunjin jumped up immediately, as if her pressure points had been released.

"Shen Yuan! You..."

As soon as Shen Yunjin opened her mouth, she saw her father looking at her with a sharp gaze, and the words she was about to say instantly stuck in her throat. She dared not utter a single word.

After examining Madam Shen, the physician had her carried back to her bedroom to rest: "Madam Shen was probably suffering from a sudden heart attack, but she is fine now."

"No serious injury?" Jiang was taken aback.
