Chapter 17 Enjoyment
For some reason, Xuefu became increasingly attached to Yu Weiyou, and she always tried to find ways to go home with Yu Weiyou.
Xuefu came from out of town to study here. She lives in the dormitory and works part-time as a model while studying fashion design.
They first met simply because she and Yu Weiyou were assigned to the same group in a certain class. That day, they were working on an assignment when an outsider suddenly started bothering her. The other members of the group didn't want to get involved, but Yu Weiyou poked her head out and called her in.
Later, when that outsider came to harass her again, Yu Weiyou was able to cleverly and stylishly make excuses for her.
As if she had found a shield, she stayed with Yu Weiyou from then on to escape from that person.
Actually… Yu Weiyou didn't mean it. She initially helped Xuefu out of trouble because she was the only one in her group with a standard figure, and Yu Weiyou just happened to want her help trying on clothes. The subsequent times were similar—asking her to attend group meetings, organize group dinners, and so on. The others seemed somewhat resistant to her, but Yu Weiyou didn't care at all. Everyone kept passing the buck, but in the end, Yu Weiyou always ended up asking.
Yu Weiyou didn't like clingy people, and she had never been particularly enthusiastic towards Xuefu—well, logically speaking, she wasn't enthusiastic towards anyone. She didn't refuse simply because she felt Xuefu meant no harm and just wanted to thank her. It didn't matter; occasionally hanging out with Xuefu wasn't a problem.
However, it was absolutely impossible for her to go home with Yu Weiyou.
It just seems a bit impossible to guard against.
Xuefu finally found an opportunity to follow Yu Weiyou and watch her walk into the house.
Xuefu couldn't hear anything from the doorway, and all the curtains were closed. So she boldly went back to the front and knocked on the door.
The one who opened the door was Yu Weiyou.
"Hi! Weiyou, you're home!" Xuefu greeted her while peeking inside.
"Who is it?" asked Lu Jiucheng, who came out from inside.
Yu Weiyou coldly pulled Xuefu in and brought her in front of Lu Jiucheng, saying, "This is Xuefu."
Then Yu Weiyou calmly walked to Lu Jiucheng's side and took his hand.
"This is my boyfriend, Lu Jiucheng." She said, standing on tiptoe and kissing him on the corner of his mouth.
Xuefu suddenly froze.
"So you're Wei You's friend. We were just about to have dinner, why don't we join us?" Lu Jiucheng said with a smile.
Before Xuefu could speak, Yu Weiyou pressed Xuefu down into her seat: "Don't be shy."
Lu Jiucheng brought out the dishes one by one.
"Alright, dinner's ready! Come on, try it and see if it's good." As Lu Jiucheng spoke, Yu Weiyou tugged at his sleeve, so he forked a piece of food and brought it to Yu Weiyou's lips. "How does it taste?"
"Mmm, not bad. You eat too." Yu Weiyou said, feeding a piece to Lu Jiucheng, then turning to Xue Fu and saying, "It's delicious, you eat too."
"..." Xuefu gave a stiff smile, finished the meal with difficulty, and prepared to leave.
"Hey, don't go! We have a game console here, want to play a few rounds together?"
"No, no, no, that's alright. I have something to do, so I'll be going now! Sorry to bother you."
