Chapter 52 Shift Change
Lin Siqiao and Lu Yunshu took a quick stroll and then, under the guidance of other classmates, went to the office of the school's performance department.
The office is located on the left side of the school gate. It is a small gray building with two or three floors high and is easy to find.
This building also has a nice name - Fosi Building.
I heard that it was named after the first dean of the Academy of Drama.
When we got to the Foxi Building, there were already more than twenty students queuing up in the huge office to complete the admission procedures.
The two of them had just lined up for a while when Lu Yunshu suddenly turned pale and whispered while holding his stomach.
"Si Qiao, please go through the formalities first. I need to go to the bathroom."
"Are you okay?"
"It's okay, it's okay." Lu Yunshu waved her hands. She just suddenly had that period.
"Okay, I'll wait for you when I'm done."
Soon, Lin Siqiao saw the teacher waving at her.
"Student, please show me your admission letter and household registration certificate."
The person in charge of handling the formalities for Lin Siqiao was Teacher Wu Yanqiu, who was the chief examiner of the final performance audition and also the dean of the Department of Performance.
She recognized Lin Siqiao when he came in. The impression this child left on her was so deep.
However, out of a responsible attitude, Wu Yanqiu would verify every student who came to register, for fear of impersonation.
Lin Siqiao handed over the materials he had prepared early in the morning. Wu Yanqiu took a look and found no problems. The food supply and admission procedures were quickly completed.
"Here is the class schedule. Please take it. The school does not allow students to be late or leave early. Remember to come early tomorrow when school officially starts."
"By the way, Class A of the Department of Acting is in Room 201 on the second floor of the teaching building. Don't go to the wrong place."
Lin Siqiao took it with both hands and said with a smile, "Thank you, teacher. I understand."
"Teacher, I have a question."
A male classmate behind Lin Siqiao suddenly raised his hand.
Oh no, she's not a guy.
Her hairstyle just wasn't the standard pigtail of this era.
Jiang Yingnan has neat short hair, high eyebrows, and a pair of slender almond-shaped eyes that are slightly upturned.
The whole person exudes an air of arrogance from head to toe.
"Student, please ask if you have any questions."
"Teacher, I just want to know, we are all students of the drama academy, why are we divided into different levels?"
Jiang Yingnan had already been very unhappy when she saw the words "Class B" on the admission documents.
What does B mean? Does he want to say that these people are not as good as those in Class A?
Among the more than 20 students in the room, many are from Class B. When they registered just now and learned that the Performance Department is divided into Classes A and B, they had doubts in their hearts.
It’s just that their opportunity to go to college this time was hard-earned, and no one wants to get themselves into trouble because of this.
So they all kept it to themselves, but now someone is starting to make a fuss, and they also want to know what the difference is between the two classes.
After all, a big part of the reason they applied to the drama academy was because the General Political Department Art Troupe would come here every year to recruit actors.
If this opportunity is taken by Class A, then what is the point for them?
Soon someone stood up to help.
"Teacher, is there any difference between Class A and Class B?
"Will all the school activities or performance opportunities be taken up by people from Class A in the future?"
This was also the first time Wu Yanqiu encountered this situation. Since the students had questions, it was necessary for her to come out and explain a few words.
"Everyone be quiet and listen to me."
"First of all, I want to make it clear to everyone that since the establishment of the drama school, the class names have always been arranged in the order of A, B, C, and D."
"However, there is no difference in the course schedule between Class A and Class B. The teacher who teaches you professional and cultural courses is the same."
"And the school has always adhered to the principle of fairness and justice and will not favor any class."
"As for your worries, there is absolutely no need."
It was obvious that Jiang Yingnan was dissatisfied with this statement.
"Teacher, if there is no difference, then I would like to apply to transfer to Class A."
"Teacher, I also want to apply for a class change."
"Me too."
As soon as one person came, two more appeared. The students who came to register later heard that someone wanted to change classes.
Without even figuring out what was going on, he started shouting at the back in a shrill voice.
The office suddenly became chaotic.
“Nonsense!”
Wu Yanqiu slapped the table vigorously. "The number of students in each class has been determined, and one-third of the registration procedures have been completed."
"You want to transfer to Class A. Where will the students in Class A sit when school starts tomorrow?"
"Teacher, this is easy."
Jiang Yingnan said nonchalantly, "I just want to know, if someone in Class A is willing to switch classes with me, the school should have no objection to it, right?"
Her arrogant attitude made it seem as if the school was owned by her family.
Wu Yanqiu was just about to say, Impossible!
Every country has its own laws and every family has its own rules. If all students are like her, how can the school be managed in the future!
Another teacher in the office recognized Jiang Yingnan and immediately pulled Wu Yanqiu aside and whispered.
"Director Wu, you'd better not get involved in this matter!"
Wu Yanqiu didn't understand, "What do you mean by leave it alone?"
"Her father is the secretary of the Jing'an District Committee."
During the third trial, Secretary Jiang came to pick me up and drop me off every day, and greeted the school leaders warmly when he saw them.
Is that a greeting?
Anyone with a discerning eye could see that he was paving the way for his daughter!
"I know you feel uncomfortable, but we can't do anything about it."
"I can't manage it, so I'll find someone who can!"
Wu Yanqiu has a strong character, and he is determined to get to the point today.
"I'm going to see the principal."
"Director Wu, Director Wu, please don't be impulsive."
The teacher who was trying to persuade him slapped his thigh and said, "What the hell is this?"
"Wait for me, I'll go with you."
The two of them left the Fuxi Building one after the other.
Jiang Yingnan was not in a hurry, and there was even a hint of disdain in his eyes.
What's the point of looking for the principal? As long as her father is the secretary of Jing'an District, she will definitely change to Class A!
Lin Siqiao also watched the farce for a while.
To be honest, it's not surprising at all.
She could even anticipate the outcome in advance.
No matter what era it is, the privileged class has always existed. Lin Siqiao guessed that the principal would not care about such a harmless matter at all.
Lin Siqiao was just daydreaming when a shadow suddenly fell on his head.
"Student, how about we discuss this?"
She didn’t know whether the other person was Jiang Yingnan from Class A, she only knew that this girl was.
Lin Siqiao was sitting in a good position. The sun shone on him through the floor-to-ceiling glass windows, making him feel warm.
Such nice weather, but it was disturbed by someone.
It would be strange for Lin Siqiao, who hadn't slept much all night, to be nice to her.
Her beautiful eyes suddenly turned cold, and Lin Siqiao pushed Jiang Yingnan aside.
