Closing remarks
Today is Saturday, so I just stayed up all night and wrote the ending in one go so that everyone doesn't have to wait for updates.
After writing the three words "The whole book is finished", unlike the feeling of loss when I wrote the previous book, this time I felt a sense of relief.
It's like carrying a heavy burden, and although we experienced all kinds of twists and turns in the process, it wasn't perfect.
But no matter what, we finally landed safely.
Since there are no eunuchs, it shouldn't be considered a bad ending. All the holes that need to be filled have been filled, and the plot is relatively complete.
To be honest, before I officially started writing this book, I really didn't expect that I would be able to write so much.
According to the original plan, the volume of this book was approximately 1.5 million words.
That is to say, until you reach the level of god.
But I didn't expect that the more I wrote, the more inspiration I had, and the smoother it became. Then I urgently planned some content, and this is how the book you all see now came about.
To be honest, the appearance of this book was an accident.
My original plan was to just write a random book to practice.
After all, I just finished writing a fan fiction. Although the results are good, I am not very confident in the originality. I think there are still many shortcomings and I need to practice and learn.
Unexpectedly, the topic I originally planned to write was rejected by the editor.
Later, I temporarily chose a topic recommended by the editor, wrote an opening in a few hours and it was approved (thanks to my boss Penglai!)
This is a rough outline made temporarily, with too many imperfections.
But things have developed to this point, there is nothing I can do, I have to just write it.
Anyway, my original intention was to practice writing.
Before choosing the theme of original infinite flow, I reviewed my weaknesses.
No original experience.
I have only written two books, both with introductions. I am very poor at writing introductions and don’t know how to find an entry point.
Lack of ability to structure long original works.
So after comprehensive consideration, I chose the original infinite flow that I would read every now and then.
At that time, I was thinking about working hard to address these three biggest pain points.
By the way, play to your strengths and avoid your weaknesses.
If you can't write romance, just don't write it. It's not necessary anyway.
I am not good at writing the beginning, so I have to write the beginning every time I change the copy in the infinite flow. It takes a lot of practice.
Every time you change a copy, it is a new world with new settings, which really exercises your originality.
By the way, I can also try to see which topic I am more comfortable writing about, killing two birds with one stone.
Originally, I thought that I would be satisfied with one or two thousand points, and I didn’t require too much for practicing.
As a result, the product took off suddenly and became a top-notch product within a month of being on the shelves. This was something I had not expected.
So I quickly polished the outline and settings. I couldn't just come up with a big lump of stuff - although there were still some.
I can only say thank you brothers for your support.
To be honest, after self-analysis, I found that this book is really poorly written.
The plot of the main world has not been unfolded at all, the plot of the Saviors' gang lacks foreshadowing, and the ending is too hasty, which seems a bit inexplicable.
There is no connection between each copy world, the fluctuation amplitude is quite large, and it appears very fragmented.
The settings for the later stages of the game are seriously inadequate, causing the system to have almost no presence in the later stages, and it has become nothing more than an attribute display.
There is another question that brothers are more concerned about - why the Alien Girl Collection Book has not been unlocked.
Well, it’s a bit embarrassing to say.
Actually, I didn't intend to write something so vulgar.
But I heard from the big guys in the group that this would help improve my grades, so when I got stuck for the first time, I wrote a paragraph for some reason.
Then it got out of control.
So actually, I wrote all this before because I had to do it.
To be honest, whenever I don’t know what to write and start to get stuck on writing, I just make up something that appeals to both the elite and the masses.
Later on, my ability to structure the plot was honed, and I no longer needed to use this method to force my way through writer's block, so I stopped writing about it.
After all, I, Wolf, still have some small pursuits. I hope to attract brothers to subscribe with fascinating plots, rather than doing anything obscure or borderline.
When I was almost at the end of the writing, some brothers said that the recent updates were boring.
I agree with this.
A little bit, indeed.
This is also why I have to end it - there is no life left.
It's just that there is nothing interesting to output anymore. The accumulated materials have been almost written. If I force myself to write in a funny style that is contrary to the previous anti-routine style, I naturally can't write an interesting plot.
Even if I continue to do this, there will still be a lot of Micha who will not continue to write every month.
Everyone is bored watching it, and I feel bored writing it, it's even a bit torturous.
All the holes have been filled, the world view and background have been explained clearly, and it’s time to end it.
I don't know what other original infinite flow authors are like.
Personally, it's a headache to write the settings for each world - maybe this is one of the reasons why most authors choose a world with a unified style.
At the time, I thought that everyone was writing about murder stories with strange rules, and after reading so many books, I should be aesthetically fatigued. Anyway, I was aesthetically fatigued, so I might as well write something different.
I love watching the end of the world. Although the end of the world on Qidian is dead now, it may be able to survive by wearing the skin of infinite flow.
Thus this book came into being.
Urban apocalypse, nuclear war wasteland, weird apocalypse of the Republic of China, game field apocalypse, data stream apocalypse, Western fantasy apocalypse, immortal cultivation apocalypse, high martial arts apocalypse, virtual space cyber apocalypse
(Ignore the Hell dungeon, that one was just something I made up for this jealousy, mainly because it was the subject of the book that got rejected. I spent so much time working on the setting and it was so much fun, I couldn't bear not to write about it. Now it seems that it really doesn't fit in this book.)
Basically, all the types of apocalyptic stories that I could think of that could be written in this book are included. I wrote this book with the original intention of practicing my writing, and chose many different entry points and writing methods in each world.
It does work, and the book does become much smoother as it goes on - this is the reason why the later copies are getting longer and longer. Although the world in the front has a complete setting, I am often confused and don’t know how to transform the setting into a storyline, so it always ends quickly with one or two plots, which is really a helpless move.
Although this book has generally achieved most of the established goals of writing practice, there are still many expected goals that have not been achieved.
For example, as a ten-year fan of Big Eyes and Xiling Apostle, I have always hoped that I could also write that kind of touching scene where the whole world unites and cooperates to fight against the disaster when it comes.
But due to my limited writing skills and literary style, I can only say that what I wrote was a mess and I still need to practice.
The next book has not yet been decided, but there are currently three possible topics:
The first one is a funny farming and cultivation novel.
The style will be similar to the first half of the book, and there will be a lot of unconventional fun.
The second one is Longwen.
However, this possibility is relatively small, because I only came up with this idea when I found it very interesting when the book wrote about the fifth brother communicating with the local dragon tribe. I haven't read many serious dragon stories, so let it be a candidate.
The third one is Gao Wu.
Some of you may have noticed that there are many funny plots and scenes in Gao Wu Zheng Feng.
This is due to the fact that I have read so many high-level martial arts novels and am too familiar with the templates. In addition, the accumulation of the previous two million words made it very easy for me to write about this world, and it was easy for me to come up with anti-routine complaints.
It can be said that this is the world that has been written most smoothly for me, no doubt about it.
But to be honest, as I said just now, I am too familiar with this subject matter and have seen too many of it, so familiar that I can almost predict the direction of almost all subsequent plot developments.
So this makes me feel a little emmmm, not really wanting to write. I feel that those classic plots that have been polished by countless authors will be boring to write, and it will be difficult to develop anti-routines later.
The subsequent development route of the high-level martial arts theme is basically fixed. No matter how it is written, it is difficult to break out of the grand background and context from the college entrance examination to university, and finally joining the army or becoming a lone wolf to fight against the myriad races in the stars.
Or fourth, summarize the lessons learned from this book and write an original world infinite flow?
(Cross out the previous sentence!)
I have talked a lot, I wonder if any of my brothers have read it.
Anyway, I’ll think about what to write later.
I have been writing books for more than four years, and I haven't had a good Chinese New Year since I started writing.
Give yourself a short break and have a good year.
At least wait until after the Chinese New Year to release a new book.
In short, the road ahead is not too far, and we will meet again soon. I hope my brothers will support my new book then!
