Chapter Thirty-Nine
The weather is nice.
Xu Ziyan woke up from her dream feeling relaxed and refreshed, without the usual fatigue and weakness she felt after her period of high susceptibility.
This is only natural.
After all, the person who helped him through his vulnerable period and marked him was a top-tier Alpha.
Xu Ziyan had completely regained his senses by now. The events of last night came back to mind. He lay in bed, looking at the bright sunshine beside him, and smiled as he thought: Well, this time I'm completely finished.

Bai Ke said, "It's about Captain Xie's parents."
