Chapter 6
Chapter Six
When Xu Ziyan returned to his dormitory, his roommates were not there. He finally relaxed in his own little territory, forced himself to take a shower, lay down on the bed, and fell asleep as soon as his head hit the pillow.
While he was asleep, Xie Wei was extremely busy.
Inside the team's training room, the players had already begun their individual training, while coach Yu Guangzhou stood in the corridor, conducting a version analysis for the summer season with the data analyst.
Xie Wei stepped forward: "Coach."
Yu Guangzhou turned his head: "Oh, you're here?" He knew about what happened in Huating yesterday, and Jiang Yuxin had also asked for leave for him in advance, so he didn't say anything when he saw Xie Weishan arrive late.
Xie Wei asked, "What are the team's plans regarding the second team's medical staff?"
Yu Guangzhou chuckled: "It's definitely a case of being persuaded to resign, but whether it's settled officially or privately is up to you. What's wrong? You're not asking out of curiosity, are you?"
Xie Wei didn't bother beating around the bush and said directly, "I have someone to recommend for this vacant medical position."
--
When Xu Ziyan woke up, she groggily picked up her phone and glanced at the time: 5:30 p.m.
Scrolling down further, I found there was still one unread message.
[Xie Wei: The transfer to the second team has been completed, and the coach has also been informed. I'll report for duty tomorrow.]
[Xie Wei: I'm not feeling well, so I messaged you.]
Xu Ziyan's mind was still foggy from sleep. He glanced at the man bathed in golden fireworks on his screensaver, then at the message he had received, and couldn't help but feel a sense of unreality, as if a dream had come true.
This was the first time he had received a message from Xie Wei. He read those few sentences several times before carefully taking a screenshot and saving it to a newly opened album.
He suddenly remembered that he had left his peripherals in the training room of the youth training camp and had to report to the second team tomorrow. Not wanting to delay any longer, he got up, changed his clothes, and rushed to the youth training camp.
With the three-month trial period nearing its end, most of the trainees who were supposed to join the team have already left. So, although it was training time, only two or three people remained in the training room, the sound of keyboards was sparse and the room was quite deserted.
On a nearby chair, the sleazy coach who had disgusted Xu Ziyan for days was lounging with his legs crossed, humming a song and playing on his phone, occasionally flashing a greasy smile, not even bothering to glance at the training progress of the others.
A flicker of disgust crossed Xu Ziyan's mind. If it weren't for this fat pig interfering, he would have left the youth training camp long ago. It wasn't arrogance on his part; he had played solo matches against those players who had advanced to the third and second teams before him, and had won every single one of them. Besides, he was the medic with the worst solo skills.
Fortunately, things took a turn for the better, and he did not leave TWG.
Xu Ziyan breathed a sigh of relief, opened the door, and went inside.
The commotion he made wasn't loud, but it happened to attract the attention of Wang Jingyu, who was looking at his phone.
He looked away from the scantily clad Omega on his phone screen and fixed his gaze on Xu Ziyan, who was walking in. Then he narrowed his eyes and gave a disdainful snort.
Previously, relying on his position as a coach and his connections, Wang Jingyu had taken advantage of many Omegas, with some even offering their bodies in exchange for his favor. It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say he was the local tyrant of the youth training camp.
Wang Jingyu took a liking to Xu Ziyan as soon as he entered the camp.
But to my surprise, Xu Ziyan refused to listen to reason and instead dared to hit me after I only touched him a few times.
Omegas are born just to be touched by others, aren't they?
In retaliation, for the past three months, Wang Jingyu blocked all of Xu Ziyan's applications to join the team, then looked at his dejected face with smug satisfaction: So what if you're capable? You still have to bow down to me, don't you? This is the consequence of resistance! You might as well have just obeyed from the beginning.
Xu Ziyan was naturally aware of the disgusting gazes clinging to him. He quickly frowned, but then, remembering that he would be leaving soon, he couldn't be bothered to pay any attention. He went straight to his workstation and began to organize the data cables and tidy up the keyboard.
The teammate who had spoken to him last night, sitting next to him, was somewhat surprised to see Xu Ziyan packing up his peripherals: "Ice, you're not planning to leave, are you?"
Xu Ziyan said, "It's time to leave."
His teammates assumed he was packing up to go home and said regretfully, "Sigh, don't think too much about it. I heard that RG's new round of youth training is about to start, and they are in need of medical staff. It wouldn't be bad to go there and find an opportunity."
Xu Ziyan was taken aback, and was about to explain when a disdainful, mocking laugh suddenly came from behind him: "What's wrong? Going home?"
He frowned, turned around, and sure enough, met Wang Jingyu's disgusting big face.
Xu Ziyan put the keyboard away and replied coldly, "This has nothing to do with you."
Wang Jingyu chuckled: "How can it not be a problem? If you had just held back a little longer, well... I'd conservatively estimate that you'd be a starter on the third team by now."
"..."
Xu Ziyan didn't say a word more, and he was also a little puzzled: Didn't Xie Wei tell Wang Jingyu about the team transfer?
He turned to leave, but Wang Jingyu wouldn't let him go, grabbing Xu Ziyan's wrist: "Hey, don't be in such a hurry to leave. Let me show you the way. Come to my room tonight, and I'll give you another chance..."
He spoke softer and softer as he went on, almost as if he wanted to whisper in Xu Ziyan's ear.
Xu Ziyan got goosebumps all over and glared at him with disgust. She glanced at the other people in the training room out of the corner of her eye: some were wearing headphones, some were looking at the screen, and they all pretended not to hear or see anything.
When he was taken advantage of, these people reacted in the same way.
A chill ran through Xu Ziyan, and she suppressed her anger, repeatedly telling herself: Don't hit anyone, don't hit anyone, I'm joining the team tomorrow, please don't hit anyone...
Suppressing his nausea, he was about to speak when he suddenly heard a cold voice asking a question from the entrance of the youth training camp.
Coach Wang, what are you doing?
