Chapter 7: Good at Observation
"Thank you." Wen Shuzhou looked at Wen Miao who was passing him the message with scrutiny and pursed his lips.
"Really? I also like spicy food. We have the same taste, but my brother can't eat spicy food very well. He has a bad stomach. How about we have a hot pot?" Wen Qingzhou took his brother into consideration this time.
"Sure." Wen Miao said as he brushed chili sauce on a string of beef tendons.
"He's a smart man and good at observation." Wen Shuzhou took a bite of the cumin squid and formed his own opinion of Wen Miao in his heart.
"Wen Miao, I haven't asked you yet, how old are you this year?" With a sneer, Wen Qingzhou opened another can of wine.
"Twenty-two." Wen Miao said while eating the skewers.
"Twenty-two years old? You haven't graduated from college yet, right? Today is May 21st, and there is still more than a month away from graduation in July? Haha, you are one year younger than me. Come on, call me brother." Wen Qingzhou took a sip of wine, and the corners of his mouth couldn't help but curl up.
"I graduated from college!" Wen Miao said as he tore off a piece of garlic-cooked eggplant.
"Graduated?" Wen Qingzhou blinked and suddenly realized something.
"Did he skip a grade?"
"Yeah, I skipped a grade." Wen Miao said lightly.
"Wow, I didn't expect you to be a top student!" Wen Qingzhou looked Wen Miao up and down, left and right, and asked curiously.
"Since you skipped a grade, which university did you graduate from?"
"Jinghua University." Wen Miao said calmly as always.
"Jinghua University? It's one of the top universities in the country, awesome!" Wen Qingzhou gave Wen Miao a thumbs up with his greasy thumbs up.
"I guess you're not bad either?" Wen Miao said with his eyes gradually deepening.
"I'm... just so-so, but my brother studies well. Like you, he's also a top student." Wen Qingzhou suddenly became proud when he talked about his brother.
"I figured it out." Wen Miao lowered his head and turned over the new round of skewers on the grill.
"You can tell even though I didn't say it?" Wen Qingzhou said with a little surprise.
"In my impression, people like your brother are usually very secretive." Wen Miao said directly after glancing at Wen Shuzhou.
"Oh? What kind of person am I? Am I so absolute?" Wen Shuzhou narrowed his pupils slightly, with an elusive chuckle in his eyes.
"It's the person I see right now, a capable person!" Wen Miao avoided Wen Shuzhou's direct question and started playing word games.
"You think so highly of me?" Wen Shuzhou's eyes seemed to have sank a lake.
"Freshly grilled big gluten, would you like one?" Wen Miao did not continue to reply to Wen Qingzhou, but held a grilled gluten in front of Wen Shuzhou and said.
"Yes, I want it." Wen Miao's attitude was there, and Wen Qingzhou did not ask any more questions. He took a bite of the gluten from Wen Miao's hand before letting her take it.
