Is Chapter 7 just going to be left like this?

"Lin, the educated youth~"

A middle-aged man rushed over.

Wang Xuehua's face turned extremely pale when she saw her on the ground.

He was Zhang Aiguo's father and Wang Xuehua's husband—Zhang Tieguang.

"Lin Zhiqing, stop hitting him."

Zhang Tieguang stepped forward and helped the man up.

Wang Xuehua seemed to have found someone to back her up, and immediately burst into tears, "Patriotic dad, I'm about to be beaten to death, waaaah..."

"You~"

A strange smell wafted over.

When Zhang Tieguang saw her wet and smelly pants, his expression changed repeatedly.

Wang Xuehua's expression froze, and she hunched her neck and shrank back like a quail, no longer as domineering as before.

Seeing her in this grotesque state, a look of disgust flashed in his eyes.

He turned his head away and refused to look at her again.

Without any politeness, he accused Lin Jingyu, "Lin Zhiqing, your aunt is an elder, isn't it too much for you to beat her like this?"

"Excessive?"

Lin Jingyu laughed angrily, "Uncle Tieguang, do you know what happened? Have you even figured out the situation? You're blaming me without knowing anything?"

"It's wrong of you to hit someone."

Zhang Tieguang continued with a stern face, "If you assault someone, we can report it to the police."

"Okay, let's report it to the police."

Lin Jingyu clapped in agreement, "Even if you don't report it, I will."

"What are you reporting!"

The village chief's displeased voice drifted from afar.

The village chief came quickly.

He was followed by a number of villagers who had come to join in the fun.

This includes He Zhenhua and others who had just returned from work.

When Wang Xuehua appeared before the village chief, she immediately became arrogant, saying, "Village chief, Lin Zhiqing assaulted someone! Quickly report this to the police and have her arrested!"

"Village chief, Lin Jingyu also hit me."

Finally regaining her senses, Zhao Qiaoyan burst into tears and tearfully complained, "I only said a few words, and she beat me like this. Village chief, you must do justice for us."

The village chief glanced at the two 'injured' people, then at the villagers watching the spectacle from the sidelines.

Even without knowing the details, this cunning old fox could guess that these two deserved to be taught a lesson.

He couldn't be bothered to look at the two people who were making false accusations.

"Lin Zhiqing, what happened?"

The village chief asked in a calm tone, "Why is it getting to the point of reporting it to the police?"

"Village chief, I must have had the worst luck in eight lifetimes to encounter something like this."

Lin Jingyu curled her lips and recounted the whole story from the beginning.

There was no exaggeration, no omissions or cuts, not a single word was added or removed; everyone could hear it clearly and understand it perfectly.

“Village chief, if you don’t believe me, just ask anyone and see if I’m lying.”

The village chief nodded and looked at the villagers who had come early to watch the show.

Zhang Tieguang and others waited for them to speak.

“Lin Zhiqing is right.”

"Things are indeed as Lin Zhiqing said."

“Lin Zhiqing did not lie or tell any falsehoods.”

"In fact, the one who was really bullied was Lin Zhiqing; it was clearly the wicked who accused first."

...

Without them even asking, they all eagerly blurted out their answers.

Hearing these words, Zhang Tieguang felt utterly humiliated.

He no longer cared about seeking justice; his eyes glared at the people around him with a murderous look. "Hurry up and go back. You're a disgrace."

"I'm not leaving."

Wang Xuehua immediately became anxious, her voice shrill, "That brat broke my hand, she has to pay for it, and my Aiguo too..."

"Just shut up."

Zhang Tieguang's eyes flashed with a fierce light, and he couldn't wait to teach this damned woman another lesson.

Wang Xuehua cried out unwillingly, "It's a fact that my hand is broken."

When Zhang Tieguang saw her broken wrist, his face darkened.

His gaze toward Lin Jingyu was icy. "Lin, you've been too ruthless. Aren't you being a little too cruel?"

"heartless?"

Lin Jingyu scoffed, her contemptuous gaze sweeping over the couple. "Uncle Tieguang, don't tell me you don't know what would happen if I had no power to resist, given how your wife torments people."

"We all know she's always been a liar."

Zhang Tieguang's attitude grew increasingly cold and hard. "Since there's no such thing, you can explain it yourself."

"Is that your opinion?"

Lin Jingyu was furious, but her tone became even calmer, "Since you think your wife's actions are harmless, then let's report it to the police."

I want to see how many years in prison they can get for defamation and extortion.

Zhang Tieguang was stunned and couldn't help but ask, "What defamation? Extortion?"

"Defamation is defined as deliberately fabricating facts, making things up out of nothing, and openly damaging or discrediting someone's character and reputation."

He Zhenhua took the initiative to explain, "If someone spreads false or fabricated facts, it constitutes the crime of defamation."

Extortion is defined as the act of forcibly demanding public or private property from a victim by using threats or coercion with the intent of illegal possession.

“Uncle Tieguang, Aunt Xuehua’s actions constitute two crimes.”

Wang Hongliang grinned at him, "The first is to ruin Lin Zhiqing's reputation, and the second, of course, is to extort money from Lin Zhiqing."

"Actually, there's also the crime of hooliganism."

Lin Jingyu spoke softly, "I am fifteen years old this year, and I am a minor. If you insist on smearing me, then don't blame me for accusing Comrade Zhang Guoai of indecent behavior."

As soon as these words came out.

Zhang Tieguang and Wang Xuehua's expressions changed drastically.
