The producer broke down in tears.

What the hell? Why did the casino have to call at this time?!
As an investor, Ji Wanfeng is not one to back down when it comes to standing firm.
"Put it on speakerphone, otherwise I'll assume you're guilty and have done something to betray the crew. Don't blame me for being ruthless then."
The producer's lips turned pale, and his mind went completely blank.
A kind assistant director nearby helped him out by pressing the speakerphone button for him.
A rough, menacing voice came through the phone:
"...You better transfer the money today! Didn't you say you could use some of your crew's funds last time? Why are you still dragging your feet like this! If you don't transfer the money, don't blame me for getting my brothers to kill you!"
When his secret was exposed on the spot, Producer Wu's body went limp and he collapsed heavily to the ground.
He knew that he was completely finished.
With his mind buzzing, Producer Wu looked up and immediately met the cold, ruthless gazes of Director Xia and Ji Wanfeng.
"Producer Wu, you're really bold."
Ji Wanfeng's gentle face was now unbelievably cold as he crossed his arms and looked down at Producer Wu, who was slumped on the ground like a limp rag doll.
Producer Wu wanted to explain, but his lips moved but he ultimately said nothing.
He couldn't understand why he was having such bad luck today!
Getting caught cheating is one thing, but what man doesn't have a scandal?
Isn't strong work ability all that matters?
But then, by sheer coincidence, the debt collectors called again!

The film crew temporarily suspended production this afternoon due to the issue with producer Wu.
Ji Wanfeng went to deal with Producer Wu's affairs, while Director Xia swiftly went to handle the divorce.
Xia Chuyue had nothing to do, so she returned to her small apartment.
As soon as Xia Chuyue got home, she received a call from Xia Xinxin, the fake heiress.
"Hello? Sister, why are you only answering my call now?"
Xia Xinxin seemed to have gotten used to acting coquettishly, and her tone always carried a girlish softness.
Xia Chuyue felt uncomfortable listening to this, and a hint of speechlessness appeared in her frost-like cold eyes.
"Why should I answer your call so quickly? Are you some important person?"
Xia Chuyue has a cold temper. When she argues with someone, she speaks in a detached tone and has an expression that says "you are not worthy".
