Chapter 376 The Only Torch

At dawn on Sunday.

Holding an oil lamp, Arthur left his home in the darkness and arrived at the Star River Church.

Because the sunrise pierces the darkness of dawn, a scene that seems to symbolize the birth and arrival of hope.

At the Star River Church, morning prayers, performed in the early morning, are considered the time when one is closest to God.

At this moment, Arthur, who had come to the church, found a quiet corner as usual and sat down at the prayer table.

There was clearly still some time before sunrise, and no candles were lit in the church at this time.

However, even in this darkness, Arthur felt no fear whatsoever.

At this moment, he even deliberately extinguished the light emanating from the oil lamp he had placed aside.

As the last glimmer of light disappeared, the church was plunged into complete darkness.

As dawn approached, the dim moonlight was already obscured by thick clouds.

This meant that almost no light could penetrate the church from the windows at that moment.

But in this absolute darkness, Arthas waited quietly.

There was clearly still a long time before the morning prayers that would take place in the church after sunrise.

Arthurs' arrival at the church so far in advance was not intended to enjoy the quiet solitude of being alone.

He was just waiting, waiting with hope in his heart.

Because of the anticipation of what will happen in the future.

So the darkness and silence that would normally instill fear seemed to become bearable at this moment.

Or perhaps, when he was in the Star River Church, Arthur felt that he was not actually affected by the negative emotions that had troubled him for so long and were rooted in the depths of his soul.

And a moment later, the change he had been waiting for finally happened—

As time passed, sunrise arrived.

At that moment, the first rays of golden sunlight shone on the stained glass windows of the church.

Arthas's eyes gradually brightened.

It was as if the bright sun was illuminating his originally dull, dark pupils.

It also seemed to be because of the awe he felt at the hopeful scene before him.

As dawn fades, the sun gradually rises above the horizon.

The interior of the Star River Church was visibly enveloped in light bit by bit.

Under the sunlight.

The stained glass windows in the church, which originally appeared to be dark in the night, seemed to have become transparent.

A vibrant and bright orange-yellow, a warm and lively yellow-green, and a calm and profound blue-green.

At this moment, it's like "lighting up a star map".

The stained glass, decorated with irregular patterns, shimmers with a captivating brilliance in the sunlight.

The flowing light and shadow were also left on the wall on the glass side.

At this time, the sun had already climbed to a certain height.

When the entire Star River Church is brought into its "radiation range".

The interior of the church was now completely filled with light.

The scorching light replaced the original cold darkness.

Arthurs looked up—

In his eyes, the stained glass that reached all the way to the dome looked like large, irregular clusters of color under the sunlight.

It also resembles a magnificent nebula at the very beginning of the universe.

At this moment, Arthur was almost completely captivated by the dazzling colors.

Because of the reflection from stained glass.

While inside the Church of the Stars, Arthur even had the illusion that the sun rose from there.

However, for him, this might not be a misperception.

Because in Arthur's eyes, he was now surrounded by that breathtakingly beautiful nebula at the very center.

It was a statue of the god he believed in.

The sunlight shone on the statue before Arthas, as if draping it in a soft glow.

It is a crowning ceremony for the monarch who holds the reins of hope.

It also allows more beings to know its glory and guides lost believers on their way forward.

Thus, Arthur, who was in the church, witnessed the sun rising in the Starry Church.

The image rising behind the statue of the Lord of Miracles.

At that moment, Arthur, sitting in the prayer seat, looked directly at the miraculous light rising from the church.

Stare directly at the idol in the light.

Although his eyes quickly became uncomfortable from staring directly at the blinding light.

Physiological tears quickly flowed from his eyes.

The image of the idol he saw gradually became blurred.

It was as if humanity was being punished for trying to face the true face of the gods.

But Arthurs did not give up his act of looking directly at the camera because of this "punishment".

He even couldn't help but lean forward because of the warm sunlight that seemed to be showered by the Lord of Miracles.

But soon, Arthur stopped himself from doing what seemed like a "blasphemous" thing.

He refocused his gaze entirely on the statue bathed in sunlight.

Even in the darkest of dawns, Arthur felt no fear in the church.

Because he knew that the Lord he believed in was actually right beside him, watching over him.

And so, just now, he witnessed with his own eyes the moment when the Lord of Miracles brought light.

He is the only torch, the only light in the darkness.

His appearance is the arrival of hope, the birth of a miracle.

He is like the sun itself, dispelling the darkness of despair and bringing the light of hope.
