Chapter 70: The Domineering Grandmother

The more he read, the more shocked the old man was. Yu Zihan could actually grasp the essence of it.

Yu Zihan didn't notice that there were two people behind her. Her consciousness was in space and she was engrossed in reading a book.

Yu Meijuan and her mother saw this scene when they came down. She knew what her daughter was doing by looking at her daughter's expression, so Yu Meijuan walked to her daughter and gently patted her shoulder.

Yu Zihan came out of the space only after her mother patted her on the shoulder.

When I looked up, I felt that there were four people surrounding me.

"Are you trying to scare me to death?" Yu Zihan blurted out.

"Zi Han, can you understand grandpa's book?" Yu Yanming didn't care about the child's words, he asked gently.

"Well, I didn't really understand it. I just had nothing better to do," Yu Zihan tried to smooth it over. But Yu Yanming could tell his granddaughter was being subtle, and he didn't point it out. Yu Zihan was puzzled. She looked at her father and wondered if it was related to her handsome dad, just like the usual melodramatic plots.

Pei Xiao felt uneasy when his daughter looked at him: "Why are you looking at me? What's that look in your eyes?" Pei Xiao pretended to scold her.

"How is your relationship with my aunt?" Yu Zihan couldn't help it after all.

"What do you mean? Your aunt and I are just acquaintances. We have no relationship." Pei Xiao seemed to understand what his daughter meant, but he didn't want to take the blame.
