During her time married to the Crown Prince, she had come to understand her situation. The Crown Prince had no deep affection for her whatsoever; it was nothing more than a scheme and resentment.

The prince spoke domineeringly, and casually pulled Mengyao into his arms.
Listening to their affectionate conversation, Han Luoxue felt only disgust.
Did she say anything? Han Luoxue simply didn't want to be a concubine, so how did the Crown Prince and the others perceive it as wanting to be the Crown Princess?
"Brother Chen, there's still one ritual we haven't completed."
Han Luoxue ignored the couple's dramatic antics. She reached out and poked Han Yuchen's waist. He looked quite thin, with no excess fat around his waist, and was very muscular.
Han Yuchen nodded, pulled Han Luoxue back two steps, and the two of them stood apart to bow to each other.
The ceremony is complete.
Han Qiang was quick-witted; seeing that the two had finished splitting the score, he hurriedly made the announcement.
"It's time for the wedding night celebrations!"
"Let's go make a ruckus in the bridal chamber!"
The young people of Hutouya Village started to make a fuss, while the Crown Prince and Crown Princess were ignored.
The prince's face darkened; no one listened to him anymore. Damn it, these ignorant villagers. His eyes flashed; he wished he could kill them all right then and there.

A deep voice in his ear strangely soothed the Crown Prince's anger. It was Ding Yi, the strategist who had just told the Crown Prince that Han Luoxue was still a young lady.

The crown prince took two steps back, avoiding the noisy crowd, and glanced at the person. Ding Yi, quick-witted as ever, followed the crown prince out.

Ding Yi is not old, only in his twenties or thirties.
"What do you mean, sir?"
"Is Your Highness currently displeased with the villagers of this village, or with Han Luoxue?"
"Could it be Han Yuchen?"
The man had been carefully observing the Crown Prince's expression, and said with a smile, "If Your Highness only wants to teach Han Luoxue and Han Yuchen a lesson, there are plenty of ways. I happen to have one here that I guarantee will make Your Highness feel satisfied."
"Sir, please speak."
The Crown Prince was in high spirits; he also wanted to know what method Ding Yi had.
"Although Han Luoxue is a village woman, she is indeed quite beautiful, barely passable. Making her a concubine would be an honor for her, but she would be acceptable as His Highness's woman."
Ding Yi raised his chin high and scoffed, "If Your Highness were to take Han Luoxue in front of Han Yuchen..."
He didn't continue speaking, but the crown prince's eyes were indeed bright.
He instinctively disliked Han Yuchen. But he was more interested in Han Luoxue.

"That brat Yuze!"
Meng, the eldest son's wife, grabbed two bowls, intending to give the bowl with more meat to her son, but found that she couldn't find him.
She looked around; she had seen that kid just a moment ago.
But after searching around, she couldn't find it. So she simply started eating by herself.
Maybe that kid went to see his dad; the man isn't eating here.
Han Luoxue also brought out a lot of good wine, and all the men in the village are drinking it. They haven't had days of eating meat and drinking wine like this for many years.
