Chapter 307 The Cunning Han Yuchen



The old general looked at him, puzzled, and sighed, "Could it be that you're missing Xue'er?"

They used to be together all the time, but now Han Yuchen has more things to do and doesn't have as much time to be affectionate. As a prince, and a powerful one at that, Han Yuchen should know that.

"Hmm, but it's alright."

Han Yuchen glanced at the old general and said to the person who came to report:

"Give him three days to rest, and let him go down a cliff to have some fun."

The old general's lips twitched violently, thinking to himself that Han Yuchen was indeed quite cunning.

He didn't even consider that the current crown prince was in a mountain with tigers, and Han Yuchen's men were still guarding the foot of the mountain; they dared not come down.

The prince was having trouble getting food and drink in the mountains, and assassins would occasionally sneak over to make their presence known. This kept the prince on edge all day, and he had to stay there for three days. Wouldn't that drive the prince to the brink of collapse?

What's most despicable about Han Yuchen is that he actually let a messenger escape.

Three days later, the messenger should have returned, bringing back some medicine and food. Was this the time to give the Crown Prince hope, making him think he could escape? Give him hope, then crush him completely!

"You did this on purpose, didn't you, Zhen'er?"

The old general understood, and his mood improved even more.
