The good news is that the Emperor has intervened and sent people to investigate what's wrong with the Crown Prince.
The bad news was that Prince Zhen was to go. Although Mengyao wanted something to happen between her and Prince Zhen, she wasn't really stupid. She knew that Prince Zhen and the Crown Prince had a bad relationship, and she was worried that if Prince Zhen went, the Crown Prince would be in even more danger.
She hasn't seen Zhen Wang much lately, and the last time they met, it ended badly. She's not sure what to do with him.
After leaving, she did not go back immediately, but went to the Empress's place.
The Empress had already received the news and had approached the Emperor, but he still ignored it.

The Empress glared fiercely at Mengyao and said angrily:
"You are the Crown Prince's consort. Even if something were to happen to the Crown Prince, you would still be the Crown Prince's consort. Why would you want to be with that..."
She hadn't thought the Crown Princess was that stupid before, but now she saw her as hopelessly stupid.
This is the first time I've seen such a stupid woman. The Meng family really is all talk and no action.
