Han Luoxue had considered giving them a delivery fee, but before she could finish speaking, an older woman interrupted:

The younger children huddled together on the kang (a heated brick bed), in the innermost corner, tears falling silently, not daring to make a sound.
They're obviously terrified of being beaten.
"You stinking woman!"
They were carrying sticks, and the men who came with him, upon seeing Han Luoxue, their eyes lit up, and they leered at her.
"This woman is quite pretty."
"It's a pity she's pregnant."
"Having a big belly doesn't matter, I can still have fun..."
Before he could finish speaking, he was sent flying.
"Ah..." With a shrill scream, the man fell to the ground, struggled a few times, and then fainted.
