Chapter 62: Wasn't the abuse enough?

Zhuifeng walked up to Han Juhua, first kicking her over with his front hooves, then flipping her over again, and kicking her a couple of times every now and then...

Han Juhua was in pain all over from being kicked by the horse and kept begging for mercy.

But the wind doesn't understand, and the more it calls, the happier it gets.

And so, the man and his horse played, screaming in agony.

Hearing her daughter's screams, Han Mengshi forgot to cry and rushed to the door. When she saw her daughter's disheveled figure in the yard, her pupils contracted sharply.

She lifted her foot to leave, but then she heard Han Luoxue's cool voice:

"Chasing the wind likes to play with disobedient people, the more the better."

Han Mengshi's raised foot froze, hesitant to put it down. She wanted to save her daughter, but she didn't want to be beaten by a wild horse.

Han Mengshi wanted to settle down, but she heard the villagers whispering in her ears:

"This mother is really something else. Her daughter has been beaten like this and she doesn't even go out to help?"

"I thought she was going out to protect her daughter? But it turns out, this is it..."

"Nothing is more important than her own life. What a coward, no wonder she's her mother."

...

Hearing these sounds, Han Mengshi blushed with embarrassment.

At this moment, Han Juhua in the yard was knocked over twice more by the wind. The yard of Han Mingyuan's house was not paved with stones, but was all dirt. Now Han Juhua was covered in dust, as if she had just rolled around in the dirt, looking extremely disheveled.

However, her hearing was exceptionally sharp at this moment. She heard the voices of the people inside the house and saw her mother standing at the door, too afraid to come out. Han Juhua gritted her teeth in hatred, wishing she could rush forward and drag her mother out.

They promised to love her and think of her best interests, but all of this was on the premise that her mother's interests wouldn't be harmed. She's furious now; none of her grandfather, father, or mother are reliable.

"Ah!" Just then, someone accidentally bumped into Han Mengshi, causing her, who was already unsteady on her feet, to fall over unexpectedly.

With a thud, it rolled a few times and landed in the yard.

By this time, Han Juhua was so exhausted that she didn't want to move at all. She had also lost interest in playing with the wind. Suddenly, she saw another one coming and excitedly took off running over.

Before Han Mengshi could even get up, he kicked her, making her cry out in pain.

This sudden turn of events stunned everyone, but no one went out to help.

They watched helplessly as Han Mengshi was kicked around by Zhui Feng, like a toy.

Han Luoxue looked at him with a deep gaze. She had never owned a horse before and knew little about them, only that horses were quite fast, but she didn't know exactly how fast.

Han Juhua was already fifteen years old. Although she was a bit plumper than me, she was still on the thin side, probably weighing over 100 pounds. It was already a bit unbelievable that Zhuifeng could flip her over with his foot. Han Mengshi was even heavier, probably at least 130 or 140 pounds, but she watched Zhuifeng kick people without much effort. Was that normal?

I'll have to ask Father another day. If it's not normal, Zhuifeng should be more careful in front of others in the future.

Han Luoxue suppressed her thoughts and glanced at everyone in the room. Seeing that no one suspected anything, she felt relieved.

"Han Luoxue, you slut, tell this beast to stop!"

When she saw her daughter being kicked, Han Mengshi didn't feel anything, but now that she was being beaten herself, she realized how strong this beast really was.

She figured the spot where she was kicked must be bruised.

"Han Ruoxue, I'm your aunt! Tell this beast to stop! It hurts so much! Ouch, it's killing me!"

Han Mengshi tried to get up, but Zhuifeng didn't give her the chance. She seemed to understand human speech, especially when she heard the word "beast," she kicked and overturned people even faster.

Han Mengshi cried out in despair, clutching her head, but Zhui Feng still didn't make a move.

Han Luoxue had already told Zhuifeng that no one should die, and that guy was also a sentient being, always avoiding people's bodies.

"Looks like it doesn't hurt at all. My aunt is still scolding people."

Han Luoxue smiled slightly. No one felt sorry for them. Today's events clearly showed that the Han family was the scapegoat, and everyone disapproved of their behavior.

"Sister Chrysanthemum, are you really Han Yuchen's woman? Did he really see your body?"

Han Ruoxue ignored Han Mengshi and looked indifferently at Han Juhua, who was lying on the ground pretending to be dead.

Han Juhua remained motionless, not even uttering a cry of pain.

However, Han Ruoxue knew that no one was hurt, so she smiled indifferently: "It seems that Sister Chrysanthemum still wants Zhuifeng to take care of you for a while, Zhuifeng..."

Before Han Luoxue could finish speaking, Han Juhua turned around abruptly and hurriedly said, "No, no, he didn't."

She never wanted to be kicked by that beast again; her whole body was in pain.

Han Luoxue is a heartless wretch. Han Juhua is worried that if she doesn't change her mind, that beast will really kick her to death.

She only clung to Han Yuchen to try and save her own life; she didn't want to die so young, especially not in such a humiliating way, under the hooves of a beast.

"He didn't do anything? Didn't you say that Han Yuchen saw your body and that you're already his?"

Han Luoxue said calmly. She didn't believe that with Zhui Feng leading the way, Han Juhua could continue to lie.

Actually, she had an even faster way: to release the tiger cub. However, it wouldn't be good if the villagers found out she was raising a tiger cub, since tigers are rare creatures, and word of it could cause all sorts of trouble.

Han Ruoxue glanced at the little tiger cub in the space. This space was truly intelligent and considerate. He placed the little tiger in a separate space, and almost all the animals were housed separately. The spiritual spring water in the space automatically flowed over, and the animals inside visibly grew much fatter.

The little tiger seemed to sense her gaze. It had been lazily sleeping on the ground, but now it opened its big, bright eyes, looking dazed and adorably goofy. Han Luoxue wanted to pick it up and give it a good pat on the back.

There's no way to resist such furry little animals, especially tiger cubs; being able to pet one is incredibly cool.

The little tiger cub wagged its tail at it and even licked its lips.

Han Ruoxue chuckled inwardly, pulled herself out of her thoughts, and continued looking outside.

"I……"

Han Juhua hesitated. She remembered what her family had told her. She just didn't want to be replaced or eaten. Everyone wants to live. Was she wrong?

"Chasing the Wind!"

Seeing that Han Juhua still wouldn't confess, Han Luoxue shouted impatiently.

When Zhuifeng heard it being called, it stopped playing with Han Mengshi and turned to run towards Han Juhua.
